"The WIllow is a WOW!!!! It's been our home away from home for so many months and we absolutely loved it!!! Would definitely recommend this house for anyone visiting Cape Breton. It was a pleasure living here and meeting the most awesome people we have ever met in all our travels over Canada. Moira, part owner of the Willow, what can I say about this awesome lady??? She went up and beyond for us as our landlord!!!! She took it upon herself to find places for us and our workers to stay when we had to move out because off bookings made from months before we even arrived here. We wished we could still be living at the Willow but we are very happy also with the place she found for us especially in this very busy peak season. What a beautiful home, beautiful lady and beautiful Cape Breton!!

"Our group of 7 retired adults thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in this well-appointed beach house. The cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed. The location was excellent for our cycling trip on the Celtic Trail. It is about halfway along the 92 kilometer trail which fit perfectly with our plans. The nearby beach is appealing and the view is most satisfying. We were blessed with perfect weather ---- fresh and cool! An added feature to our trip was the timing which coincided with the music festival, Celtic Colours! We really appreciated the information on the VRBO site regarding local services and amenities. Joe was most helpful and approachable regarding any questions. We will be recommending this property to our families, friends, and cycling colleagues! Thank you to Joe and Lisa!"

"A beautiful drive, spanning nearly 2000 kilometers, is fantastically capped as our family of four pull in to the Mainsail and its perfect view of the Atlantic ocean. Before we can draw a breath of the salty air our amazing hosts are greeting us.
We get the welcoming tour and what a great place it is!
A very clean space with ample linens and stocked full of all the little things you don't want to have to get while away. Small extras provided by our hosts made going swimming, having a campfire or enjoying the Hubbard's parade even more amazing.
The photos are unable to capture the beauty of the setting or the surprising amount of space afforded within the cottage.
Hubbard's was full of amazing sites and activities. Our lucky timing coordinated with fireworks, a parade, and live performances on the cove. Everyone we met was welcoming and helpful when needed. If you have the pleasure of being in Hubbard's for the farmer's market it is an essential stop.
I would be remiss if I did not mention the ceilidh we experienced as our hosts, at the Trellis Cafe, gave us a memorable performance that is a highlight of our visit.
Every moment of our stay could be described like the music of that night.
"And the songs get louder,
Each one better than before"
We would be back in a heartbeat."

"We had a wonderful time at the Cottage. It was a perfect jumping off point for exploring the South Shore. Having the ferry and the bakery so close was really nice too. The cottage was as expected--clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family of 3. No complaints at all. Thanks for a wonderful stay. To future guests--hit Rhubarb restaurant near Peggy's cove--very yummy and the best chowder around. Risser's beach and crescent beach were both really nice. We found a very off the beaten path hike not too far from Peggy's Cove--can't remember the name though. But, it was a great hike along the coast and we avoided the masses at Peggy's Cove."
