  • Wonderful property - could not be better!

"The beach house overlooks the ocean to the right, Cape Smokey straight ahead and the Cabot Trail to the left. I am not sure that a more picturesque location would be possible. The Singing Pebbles is a very special place indeed! A short walk through the property to Angel's Bluff is a rewarding journey for someone seeking to see the most magnificent sunrise imaginable. The house is spacious enough for a family to enjoy, will all the amenities of home. Jitka was a warm and friendly host, with lots of suggestions as to what to do and see while on the island. Aside from that, there is lots to do on the property itself with a games room and swimming pond available for your use. Cape Breton is a wonderful place to visit - I would highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys the outdoors, scenic drives, hiking, adventure... There is a lot more to do than one week could have possibly afforded, and that's why we will be returning one day - hopefully soon!"

  • perfect

"After two weeks of traveling we stayed for a week in this perfect holiday house. It's clean, well appointed, and the inscreened porch a great place to sit in. There are no chairs in the garden, we missed that on our sunny days. The house is perfectly located to visit al lot of places nearby. We recommend this house to everyone who wants to enjoy Nova Scotia. We hope to come back sometime. Max, Loes and Jonathan (Netherlands)"

"This was an opportunity to gather the family under one roof for seven days and nights; close enough to home for work, appointments and some sleeps; far enough away to sit back, relax, and enjoy the surf, the sand, and the fresh breezes. Surfing was ideal most any time of day, rain or shine; easy access to the beach ideal for little ones, ( sand quickly washed off in the outdoor shower); and the comfortable beds conducive to deep sleeps each night. The house was solid, clean, and comfortable. The views from the windows and decks amazing. The neighbors quiet and friendly. For us, it was ideal."
