"We stayed at the cottage for three days (25-28 Dec, 2014) and it was great!!! The accommodations are very good, and there is a lot of space. It was quiet with a great view of the park. The kitchen has everything you would ever need and more!!! Very bright!! The shuttle is there all the time. Everything worked properly. My family and friends were very happy with the cottage, and thanks God with me for picking it)) So, thank you Dave for making our holidays great!!!!!"

"I had come across the Hoblet on VRBO a few years ago and tried to get my travel companion to stay there, but she wanted nothing to do with "the woods". So I saved it in my favorites and kept going back to look at it and read the reviews. I determined that I WOULD stay at the Hoblet.
I finally got my wish. My sister and I stayed at the Hoblet for 3 nights and it was just as wonderful as I thought it was going to be! I have stayed in many VRBO rentals and Petra is, by far, the best host I have had. From the moment we came through the gate, she made us feel welcome.... Hell, she made us feel like FAMILY!
My sister and I were born and raised on the farm, so having the goats, pigs, mules, donkeys and dogs close at hand was like being home for us. I do believe if she could have, my sister would have slept in the goat pen! And I got my first ever donkey hug. I felt so privileged!
We came to the Hoblet with no plans except to hang out and commune with the animals and nature. But, after talking to Petra, who has a wealth of knowledge of the area, we decided to go check out some sights. We went to the falls, of course (magnificent). Did Niagara Fury, which made us giggle like school girls. Got some absolutely stunning pictures on the White Water Walk. Visited the Butterfly Conservatory and the botanical gardens. Took a drive up to Niagara on the Lake (Beautiful). Had ice cream at the Avondale Dairy.... it is WAY-Y-Y out in the country... we thought the GPS might be taking us to the actual dairy farm where we would have to offer to milk the cows in exchange for directions back home! But our favorite "sight" of all was the beach at the end of Pleasant Road on Lake Erie. The sound of the waves is always music to my ears.
I could go on and on and on about our wonderful stay at the Hoblet, but I'll just say..... GO THERE! If you like the country and animals and being only 15 minutes from the falls and "the action", GO THERE! You will not be disappointed.
Thanks You, Petra, for making our stay the most memorable, ever, and we will see you next year."
