"Had a very relaxing couple of weeks here. Ideal for quiet reading, meditation, catching up on movies and dvds. Cabin is situated on the top of a hill so it's a bit of a hike to get up and down to the lake. There is no beach or swimming at the property. You will need to paddle out to one of the swimming platforms. Fairly quick drive to town to get any supplies you need. No issues with the cabin. It's very rustic and charming but surprisingly large. The very large screened-in room was a favourite spot to read. Only quibble would be that the mattresses were somewhat uncomfortable but that is often the charm of roughing it in the woods. I expect I'll be back again."

Winking Rosebud a wonderful venue for family retreat
"Our extended family met at the Winking Rosebud for a week long retreat in early July. It is just an awesome venue for a large group that wants to spend time together and yet have private space for down time. The amenities for cooking, sleeping and gathering indoors are luxurious and substantial. Yet there is a relaxed and comforting ambience that we appreciated immensely. Our group included 10 children ranging in age from 1 to 14, and they all loved what they were doing, outdoors and in, for the whole week! For us, some of the very special highlights of the Winking Rosebud are a wonderful indoor pool and sauna, a very high end central kitchen with huge fridge, plus a second complete modern kitchen in the 4 bedroom cottage, extremely comfortable beds and quiet bedrooms, many individual and attractive spots for intimate conversations in smaller groups, the big screened dining porch where we all ate together in the evening, and of course, the clean and beautiful lake for water sports. It has all the amenities that support the numerous five star reviews, and at the same time, beautifully natural and accepting of the activities associated with an outdoor focus. We would choose it again without hesitation as a very special venue for a family reunion."

"The apartment is ideally situated for exploring the sights of Toronto. Just a walk across the street from the station you can get trains to the interesting parts of the City.
Situated on the 35 floor the views are spectacular. It's just a short walk to the CN Tower where you can stand on glass floors and look down onto people below (if you have the stomach). Or you can watch the Blue Jays baseball team at the nearby Rogers Centre - our first time at a match which we thoroughly enjoyed.
The apartment was clean, well presented and had everything we needed for our stay. We would highly recommend it for anybody visiting the City."

"I stayed in this apartment with two girlfriends for a wine tasting weekend in Prince Edward County and it was perfect. It's right in Picton so walking distance to all conveniences and a short drive from the wineries. The apartment is very spacious, charming and comfortable. The gentleman who manages the property was responsive and reliable and was flexible when we needed to change our arrival time at the last minute. I would recommend this apartment to anyone heading to PEC."
