"We spent a wonderful week here with a 5 year old, a 1 year old, and two dogs. Everyone had a great time. The cabin itself was even nicer than we expected for a rustic fishing cottage (clean, fully stocked kitchen, wireless internet). The property has a grassy lawn that the kids and dogs enjoyed, and is very private with no neighbors close enough to worry about. At the same time, there is plenty of shade and wildlife with beautiful views from the cabin. We especially enjoyed kayaking and exploring Perth. The only downside is the road noise, but highway 15 is a two-lane country road, and makes the cottage about an hour from our home in west Ottawa; the road is also not really visible from the property, and vice versa, with the trees. We definitely hope to visit again."

"Our group consisted of young children, parents and grand parents. We had an amazing time at this cottage. Great location with stunning sunsets. Situated on a scenic point with water on three sides, it was perfect for all of us.
Well equipped, comfortable and very modern cottage. A fabulous shallow sandy beach for the young children was a highlight.
The owners were very accommodating and very pleasant to deal with. Would highly recommend for a family vacation."

"We enjoyed our stay very much!
We visited for 5 days from Germany beginning of August and found the apartment absolutely in line with the positive reviews we had read before.
Obviously, you do not pick this downtown location between Gardiner Expressway and railroad tracks if you seek peace and quiet. With closed windows, the noise level is bearable, though.
But what a great location! You have the panorama of CN Tower, Stadium, Railroad Museum plus lake in the background. We went to a Blue Jays game and walked home within 5 minutes. You have subway, streetcar, waterfront, Air Canada Center and a great supermarket (Longo's) all just one block away. The Convention Center is across the street, making the apartment closer than the official hotels. The garage is a plus and when you do need to use the car, you are at Gardiner and on your way in no time.
The apartment is not large, but right sized for 4 people (in our case 2 adults + 2 kids). Our kids took turns sleeping in the bed next to the panorama window rendering to to cityscape and railway station. From our bedroom and living room, we enjoyed the evening view towards illuminated CN Tower and Stadium.
As commented elsewhere, a good part of the closets is private storage, but manageable. On top, you can put suitcases & bags into the study room if needed. First access to the apartment (to access keys & garage) sounded daunting but turned out to be merely described in a very thorough manner.
All in all a very nice stay and we would definitely book again when the occasion arises."
