"My sister was visiting from California. We rented Waynes cabin with three other friends. Five women! We had a wonderful time. We took advantage of all the cabin and property had to offer. Saunas. Firepit at night with s'mores. Kayaking. Hiking. Fires in the evening in the cabin. The mornings are extraordinary if you like to get up early. The mist oen the lake combined with the wildlife waking up is breathtaking. The lake is delightful for kayaking and canoeing. My grandfather owned 100 acres in northern Ontario and this place took me back to my childhood and the wonder and awe of natures simplicity. You never have to leave the property but if you do, it is very close to both Haliburton and Minden. The area is rich with artists studios and galleries. This cabin is not to be missed! Oh, and the chipmunks (fondly chippies) will keep a smile on your face as they dash across the deck in their search for acorns. Truly a place to let go of the everyday stresses and just be in the moment."

"My family and I recently stayed in Robb's lovely cottage. There was plenty of room for the whole extended family - four couples and a few kids. The cottage was very clean and equipped with anything a renter might need or want. Robb was a pleasure to deal with and made every effort to make sure our stay was perfect (Thanks Robb!). My 3 year old nephew loved the shallow, sandy entry to the lake. It provided hours of excavation fun with his trucks. My teenage daughter enjoyed sunbathing on the dock. My husband was thrilled to go fishing early every morning. We are avid boaters and we brought our boat so the kids could ski and tube which they loved. My sisters and I hiked every morning on the trails right near the cottage, then swam across the lake to cool off. My mom enjoyed sitting in the shade watching everyone and doing her crosswords. We all enjoyed using the kayak and peddle boat. This cottage has something for everyone! The natural beauty of this small lake is breath-taking. We didn't want to leave at the end of our week."

"Had a very relaxing couple of weeks here. Ideal for quiet reading, meditation, catching up on movies and dvds. Cabin is situated on the top of a hill so it's a bit of a hike to get up and down to the lake. There is no beach or swimming at the property. You will need to paddle out to one of the swimming platforms. Fairly quick drive to town to get any supplies you need. No issues with the cabin. It's very rustic and charming but surprisingly large. The very large screened-in room was a favourite spot to read. Only quibble would be that the mattresses were somewhat uncomfortable but that is often the charm of roughing it in the woods. I expect I'll be back again."
