"What a find! My fiancé and I decided last minute to look for a cottage for the Thanksgiving long weekend. We wanted a quiet place away from the city to just relax and enjoy the view. Well, lucky for us this cabin was available. It's exactly what we needed; no TV or internet = no distractions. Ed greeted us warmly on arrival and even left us a heater in the cottage as it was very chilly! We preferred to make fires in the wood burning stove to keep us warm, which provides a ton of heat. The view from the cottage is outstanding. We used the rowboat to try fishing but it was a bit windy. We made excellent meals in the BBQ. There is a firepit too! Just a short drive away (10-15 mins) we went hiking and wine tasting. The cheese factory is a must! Highly recommend this place - so clean and cozy and at a great price :)
We will be back and highly recommend!"

"My sister was visiting from California. We rented Waynes cabin with three other friends. Five women! We had a wonderful time. We took advantage of all the cabin and property had to offer. Saunas. Firepit at night with s'mores. Kayaking. Hiking. Fires in the evening in the cabin. The mornings are extraordinary if you like to get up early. The mist oen the lake combined with the wildlife waking up is breathtaking. The lake is delightful for kayaking and canoeing. My grandfather owned 100 acres in northern Ontario and this place took me back to my childhood and the wonder and awe of natures simplicity. You never have to leave the property but if you do, it is very close to both Haliburton and Minden. The area is rich with artists studios and galleries. This cabin is not to be missed! Oh, and the chipmunks (fondly chippies) will keep a smile on your face as they dash across the deck in their search for acorns. Truly a place to let go of the everyday stresses and just be in the moment."

Bunny Island is a vacation spot that begs to become a family tradition!
"My wife, young daughter and I have enjoyed the opportunity to vacation on Bunny Island for two summers and this is a vacation spot like no other! The drive from Gloucester, Massachusetts, is surely worth the destination.
The accommodations are appropriately rustic, yet elegant and modern. The home has aromas of birch and pine, and we have made some wonderful meals in the kitchen and on the grill. From sailing, kayaking and fishing, to hiking and exploring the local communities this place is the definition of relaxation.
I highly recommend this wonderful vacation destination for anyone who would like a place to have fun, unwind, and relax with family and friends. Photos of our family on the Island have made our holiday cards two years running!"
