  • September Break

"What a wonderful 4 day break. The Town Cottage is as advertised. The location is great, walking distance to restaurants, the water front and the shops. Everything that we needed for our stay was provided at the cottage. We celebrated my birthday with dinner at the Charles Inn (at Barb's recommendation) just a short walk away, an excellent meal and service. Niagara on the Lake is beautiful in September and we plan to return in the spring. Thanks again Tony and Barb"

  • Wonderful hospitality

"Stayed 3 nights in this wonderful little cottage. Pauline made us welcome right from arrival. Even Tikka our 120 lb Malamute enjoyed herself. Beautiful fenced yard. Tikka loves her new friend Pauline and her extra walks. Thanks again Pauline. Easy walk to shops. Fully equipped kitchen. Can't wait until warm weather comes again so we can go back and enjoy a glass of wine in the garden. Certainly recommend checking out this cottage."

  • Beautiful and relaxing!

"The Homestead was a wonderful property to spend our week in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Plenty of lovely rooms and space for our group (6 adults, 2 children). The house was incredibly well stocked with everything you could possibly need for a long stay; the kitchen has various pots/pans/cooking utensils (which came in quite handy for home cooked meals as we preferred to cook our own breakfast and stayed in on most nights), the backyard was spacious with a heated salt water pool and a grill (which again, we loved since we prefer to cook our own food), and imagine our surprise when we found a high chair and a "pack n' play" crib in one of the closets! This was super convenient for us since we were traveling with 2 small children (a 3 and 1 year old, respectively), and hadn't had room in the car to bring these amenities. The neighborhood was beautiful, relaxing, and only about a mile away from the main avenue in town, and about a 20 minute drive to the Niagara Falls area. The Homestead is also very close to many of the vineyards, making winery hopping stress free. Bill was attentive and answered all of my emails almost immediately; it was nice to know we could easily contact him if we needed anything. We fell in love with this property and cant wait to visit again next year."

  • Perfect for our weekend in Canada!

"Cabernet House was perfect spot for our family weekend in Niagara-on-the-lake. The house is very clean, well equipped, and quite comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised that the rooms were all larger than they appear in photos. Our party of 8 had plenty of space in which to hang out. Although, we didn't stay in too much as the town is so lovely with so much to do! I especially appreciated the conveneience of allowing our two night stay (but wish I could have stayed longer!). This property is a great rental value, given the easy access to shops, restaurants, parks and bike trails, in addition to just being a nice, well-kept property. I also loved that this house came stocked with so many basics like toilet paper and dishwasher detergent - that saved us a trip to the local grocery store (as we ate dinner out for every meal). I would definitely recommend this rental to my friends and family! *one small warning - be careful of the varying floor levels downstairs. I tripped once or twice in the doorway to the kitchen/back bedroom area, but eventually we all got accustomed to it and didn't have any problems. Older/renovated houses are just like that sometimes (it's kind of charming I think)."
