"The photos do not do this beautiful cottage justice! Our stay was one of the most memorable experiences and this was not only due to great company but the atmosphere of a homie, humble cottage. The lake and view was perfect especially watching the sun rises and sun sets on the dock! Everything we ever needed was graciously provided, the residents was immaculately clean upon arrival, the place was spacious and comfortably slept our 9 guests and could have easily accommodated 14. It had everything we needed and everything we wanted such as canoes, kayaks (life jackets also provided), fishing gear, board games, music, literature, movies, fresh towels and linens, fully stocked kitchen and much more. I've been to a few cottages in my time and Randomwood tops the list! It was definitely worth the 3 hour drive from Toronto! We loved everything and look forward to booking again in the near future!"

"We spent two wonderful weeks at Hawthorne Cottage. The first week was spent with our extended family - both sets of grandparents and our two children (ages 2 and 4). For the second week, the grandparents left and our friend's family moved in with their three children (ages 18 m, 3.5 and 6). The cottage was incredibly well-stocked (more so than our own home!) with endless dishes and glassware, good quality appliances, large capacity washer/dryer, great quality linens, comfortable beds, a hammock, loads of outdoor seating, a campfire pit and even two bbqs. The property was absolutely beautiful and very spacious for lots of time spent playing outside with the kids. There was even a horseshoe pit and a golf mat/net for practice. We did take the kids swimming at the cottage (water shoes suggested), but also spent a lot of time at close by North Beach which we found to be much less busy than Sandbanks. We went kayaking at the cottage as well (brought our own kayaks) which was wonderful and calm. The kids didn't mind being dragged around to the areas wineries as well - especially those equipped with trampolines (Norman Hardie, Broken Stone). Inside the cottage layout was perfect for two families as there are two sides (even two kitchens!) to keep things separated if desired. There was also a great craft room for rainy days where the kids enjoyed painting rocks and playing games. There was also wireless internet and a fully stocked media console with netflix, video games, etc. for evenings or when the weather wasn't particularly nice. This was much more a 'vacation home' than a 'cottage' as it was so well-equipped. On a side note, we had arranged for family photos to be taken in the area with our extended family during our stay. The property was so beautiful that we ended up staying right onsite at Hawthorne cottage with it's beautiful gardens and shoreline. We don't have enough good things to say about our stay and hope to be back again to make more great memories in Prince Edward County. Owner Tom was a pleasure to work with in coordinating our stay. We highly recommend Hawthorne for a vacation getaway with family or friends."

"The process of booking the condo unit was very easy. Michael answered all our questions prior to arrival. Check in was a breeze. We were met at the condo and taken to the unit and they showed us the essentials. The two are very polite and very informative. We were on the 23rd floor and loved the view from the patio. We stayed there for two wonderful weeks. The condo had security measures of needing a key fob to enter the building and through some doors, it made me feel very comfortable and appreciated the added security. I read a previous review that the air conditioning was not to their satisfaction. I can say the air conditioning was working just fine during our stay. There are different thermostats for the master bedroom and living areas. We were very comfortable. We did not use the 2nd bedroom so can not comment of the comfort of the 2 twin beds. The master bed was comfortable. I will say I enjoyed having nice fluffy towels in the condo. We use vrbo's frequently and some people skimp on cheap towels. This is not the case with this condo, they provide nice thick white towels. I appreciated having a stackable washer/dryer in the condo. We took advantage of having the grocery store in the condo on the ground floor. The items were reasonably priced. I liked going for walks in the area. There is a nice large green space less than a block away. Also the people in the condo were very pleasant. Also a plus that I haven't seen mentioned in reviews is the garage parking space allocated for the unit is very close to the entrance door and very convenient. A few days before we left we went to Nova Pastry and bakery. The custard tarts are so very good as was their pie. When we return to Mississauga we will definitely want to stay at this condo unit and go back to Nova Pastries for their custard tarts. Thank you to Michael and Yvonne. We truly enjoyed our stay."

"I've had a great time staying here for a month. The place is very clean, it has all necessities you might need to feel yourself at home, and Diane was very friendly and helpful.
Whether you're coming for a short vacation or you're looking for a long-term stay, I would definitely recommend this place as one of the best in this area."
