"What an elegant cottage with opportunities to do many things. I was so impressed with the white table cloth on the dining table, the china, bedding that was so luxurious and comfy and the cleanliness. I even took a "bath" and not just a shower it was so clean. The Jacuzzi was warm and inviting, the fire pit gave us evenings of warmth, relaxation, s'mores and the deck over the lake was a serene place to sit to have my morning cup of tea.
Thank you for having spices, foil, etc. available so I didn't have to drag it all with me or run to the grocery store to buy it and then leave it or throw it out. If I had known you had shampoo, condition and soap I wouldn't have brought that either. :)
It is a bit of a way from the mail road but the drive is so lovely any time of day and especially beautiful at sunset. We photographed many flowers along the road. There were movies to watch, games to play or just have time to sit and look out the large windows that overlook the lake.
Some nights we had to put the heater on for a short while to warm us up and it didn't take long. Some nights we slept under all the covers with the windows open. Ahhhh, fresh air.
We saw two black bears, deer, fox but no moose. Darn. We were hoping to see Bullwinkle.
It was a great learning vacation for my granddaughter. She found a lot of differences from the USA and could hardly wait to tell all of her friends about it.
We went to Quimet Canyon, Kakabeka Falls, Fort William, mined amethysts (my granddaughter left you a gift), walked the roads, visited with relatives and actually spent a day at the cottage and just enjoyed the amenities. We walked to the lodge one evening and had dinner with Cathy. Great place.
Thank you for such a lovely home away from home. I hope some day to come back and we will absolutely recommend Falcon Ridge to friends and family.
I could write a book on our time there it was so wonderful."

"We stayed for three nights in August 2014. The owner and family were there during our stay and made us feel welcome and like part of the family. They all went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and exceptional. The cabins are rustic but comfortable and beautiful. The staff on the property are friendly and helpful. My son and I could not have enjoyed our stay more. The only things missing were picnic tables and a gas BBQ area. Theses comments were shared with the owner who promised these amenities will be available by the time we return for another visit. Cooking on the charcoal grill provides great flavour which we enjoyed. The only draw back to using charcoal is remembering to light it in order to have dinner at the proper time. We always forgot or were too busy and ended up eating very late each day. We were provided with use of the amazing stove and cooktop in the lodge! Wonderful way to make breakfast and feed a large group. The lake, dock, grounds, fire pit area are all wonderful. We plan to return this September to try fishing. I highly recommend this camp to all outdoor people who enjoy nature and rustic charm and great hospitality. This is the first review I have ever written as I don't invest time in such things... But the King family was so exceptional in their hospitality and making sure your every need was met I am taking the time to thank them and recommend their camp. Thank you from Tannis and Nolan to the great people we met; Steven, Austin, Graham, Carl, JM, Barb, Lou, And Eric."

"The weather could have been better, but we had no complaints about this lovely property just across a quiet cul de sac from the beach and fronting on the Sauble River. Kids loved playing in the sand and waves, and the blender provided plenty of relaxation on the four - count 'em - four sundecks... Depending on your mood you could relax with a book, a drink and a close friend overlooking the back garden, the beach, or right at the river's edge as the fish jump and boats go by. Added bonus: Shelley was a very caring owner, eager to ensure we had all we needed for a week at the beach."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Chisholm House in Burlington. Brian was a great host and couldn't do enough for us. The house is Located in a very nice quiet neighbourhood opposite the lovely Brock Park, it stands in a great location, close to Downtown Burlington. Parking for two cars was great especially if you have family visiting. The house retains its old charm on the outside while having all modern amenities on the inside. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this to anyone."
