"It is difficult to add anything new in a review, the farmhouse is quite wonderful and the photos give a very good idea of what the house is like. The owner is exceptional in responding to queries and very helpful in giving support and direction to anything that comes up during the stay. We were there during Countylicious and for Terroir. Also highly recommended is the L'ill Bakeshop on the road from Picton to the farmhouse -amazing pies, jellies and jams."

"Our book club group of eight women had a wonderful few days at this beautiful house. We were amazed at the spaciousness, and were especially delighted to find that there were enough beds that none of us had to share. The house has eclectic and interesting furnishings, very comfortable beds, and was spotlessly clean. Although it has two large living rooms, we seemed to spend most of our time on the deck or in the large sunny kitchen/dining room. After a day spent visiting the wineries, lunching at some of the excellent local restaurants, and exploring and browsing through shops in the nearby towns and villages, it was always a pleasure to come back in the evening to relax around the large dining table with wine, cheese, and simple meals. The kitchen is amply equipped, and we christened a new bbq. The grounds are lovely, and some of us took advantage of the kayaks in the mornings to explore the Bay, where we were lucky enough to get close to a pair of swans and their five young cygnets. There is a large selection of music to suit many tastes, and lots of games. All in all an excellent spot for a relaxing getaway."

"This adorable, quaint cottage has it all! The view is one of the best in town and the location is great! Just a short walk to the main shopping area of Picton. We know the area well and this spot is a gem. Sitting out on the back deck overlooking the harbor is magic. The cottage was spotless when we arrived and if you aren't familiar with the area the owner has put together a comprehensive list of things to do, places to eat etc. Our highlights were lunch at the County Cider Company, ice cream at Slickers, lunch at the Saylor Cafe, fabulous beach days at Sandbanks, great finds at the awesome second hand clothing stores in Wellington and Picton, the Mustang drive-in, all the amazing art studios in Picton, Wellington and Bloomfield and one of the funnest nights we've had in ages listening to live music at the Acoustic Guitar. The county has so much to do and this is a great little spot to call home while you enjoy all of the amazing sights to see!"
