  • Girls' Week - August 2012

"I and two friends spent a quiet and serene week at the Field House. It was quite spacious, comfortable and had all the ammenities of a home. The property is well maintained and the river is inviting and clean. We especially loved the frog pond! We hope to return in the near future!"

  • Lovely modern getaway in a great location

"This condo was perfect for my husband and I for a three day getaway . The condo was so clean , comfortable and had everything that we needed. We did not cook there- but they had the essentials for cooking and a market was located under the building in the shops. We visited the Tim hortons every morning which was also in the underground shops. Joe was very nice to meet us at check in and get us settled in. We walked almost everywhere because we love walking. We walked to hockey hall of fame, st Lawrence market and cn tower . But recommend cab if you don't like walking. Lots of restaurants around vicinity. We parked in the garage in a private spot which was great. There are maps in the condo also. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Toronto ! Very comfy and quiet. The balcony was nice after a long sightseeing day and night."

  • A Fanastic Place on the St Lawrence River

"We had a wonderful stay at Twin Oaks. It is exactly as the photos are shown. We also did a lot of adventures away from our home as we like to learn about the area we are visiting. At Prescott we went to the Market on Sat. and did the shops, marina and the beach. We saw Fort Wellington and the Battle of the Windmill area which has a lovely picnic spot at the water's edge. We went to Upper Canada Village and stopped at the Iroquois locks to watch a ship go through. We went to Ottawa for Canada Day and Kingston on Wed for the Sunset ceremony at Fort Henry and the ghost tour there (when you go to Upper Canada Village you get fee tickets for Fort Henry.) After learning more about the building of the St Lawrence Seaway, we decided we should go to the Lost Villages Museum at Long Sault then we did a play at Upper Canada Playhouse at Morrisburg. We enjoyed each area we went to. Yes we did have time to also have fun on the river at Twin Oakes. Went swimming but nice we brought pool noodles as the bottom is rather squishy and we used the kayaks which was lots of fun. Great views of the ships going by and lots of small boats and birds to watch too. Thanks C & R! And the deep fried cheese curds with salsa at O'Heaphy's on King St in Prescott are so yummy!"

  • Great Toronto Location

"This was my second time staying at this VRBO and, as before, I really enjoyed it. The location is absolutely perfect for seeing the best of Toronto. The condo is very clean and well-cared for, the views are spectacular, and it is equipped with everything that one could need for a relaxing stay. I will definitely be back!"
