"We rented Loon Lodge for the first time ever when my family was visiting from out of the country. We were a group of 7 altogether - 4 adults and 3 kids. The setting was beautiful. Miller Lake is big enough to get a good canoe trip in, but small enough that the water is warm and relatively calm.
The house was just what we were hoping for. Beautiful big living room windows overlooking the lake and a gorgeous wrap around terrace with a table for dining outside. I liked that the house had 2 levels so the early risers could be separated from those who wanted to sleep in.
The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes and cookware we needed and it was fantastic to have a canoe and raft and rowboat to use; saved us from having to rent.
The beds and furniture were a little soft/worn for our liking, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. I would also love the option to rent our linens and pay for housekeeping instead of having to haul all that ourselves to the cabin.
But all in all, a great value for our money and the owners were very responsive and reasonable to deal with. I would recommend this for a family getaway to anyone looking for a base on the Bruce Peninsula, close to Tobermory and the beaches of Lake Huron."

"My husband and I stayed in the home for a recent getaway. We found the home very clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the back deck for relaxing in the morning and evening. It was the perfect central location for exploring Niagara On the Lake, Niagara Falls, and the wineries. We also found some great gems in the immediate area including Upper Canada Cheese, Balls Falls and a local bar and restaurant to kick back for a casual meal and drinks. Would definitely recommend this home if you want out of the hustle and bustle but still have everything nearby."

"Excellent home for a weekend get away or for your next vacation in Niagara on the Lake. We found the house in excellent conditions, beautiful furniture inside, very clean with all the amenities required for a very memorable stay as well as a central location close to all amenities. The house is located in an upscale neighborhood, very quite and minutes away from the town.
I would not hesitate to refer these accommodations to anyone seeking a get away or a vacation."

Great bluff sunrises, walking neighborhood, yard, and close to the Bluffs
"Lots of room with this second floor rental sharing the yard and back deck with Joy.
Best view of fall sunrises (at a reasonable hour too!) Neighborhood is walking friendly with a garden park closeby. Driving to the Bluffs is close and enjoyed the scenery and hikes there even more.
Full kitchen made breakfasts easy for us (we didn't cook our other meals since Toronto has too many tempting dining options). We got in after dinner/after dark and Joy had already stocked the kitchen with some basics for breakfast the next day along with fresh fruit. Allowed us to sleep in and keep early risers from starving.
There is a second TV room with a sofa bed which definitely can count as a 3rd bedroom. It does have a connecting door to a bathroom shared with the master, but more importantly has a door to separate it from the kitchen/dining."
