"This was our first visit to Cobourg and the Northumberland County area. We were pleasantly surprised at how serene and picturesque the area was. There was no shortage of activities/day trips. You could be as busy or as relaxed as you want to be. We enjoyed Cobblestone Farm very much. The house accomodated our family of 4, in addition to my parents and in-laws who joined us for a few days during our stay. It slept 8 of us comfortably. We began each morning with breakfast outside, then packed a picnic lunch and ventured out to some morning trips suggested by our host. One of the suggestions was the nearby Lavender Farm, we also visited a trout farm where our children "caught" dinner. We did a few of the Nature Trails one day, then a Provincial Park another day. The afternoons were all spent at the beach. Cobourg beach is a 15 - 20 min drive from the farmhouse, which was very convenient. The entry to the water was shallow enough for our 5 and 7 year old children. There are also a splash pad and playground adjacent to that beach. Tuesdays during the summer they hold concerts in the park in the evenings, although we were too busy with our evening bonfires back at the farm to venture out at night. We were busy exploring during the day, so relaxed back at the farm at night. We hope to visit this farm again in the future, as it was wonderful to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and "unplug" from electronics. Our children found plenty to do to keep themselves occupied, we brought horseshoes, board games and activities."

"Our ski team and coaches of 11 total had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home during a week in March while we attended the XC Ski Nationals at Lappe Nordic. Laura and Ed graciously provided the entire house for us to use, so there was plenty of room, beds and space for all. The pool table in the basement was a hit with our athletes during their down time. The location was ideal as we were located between the city and Lappe, and on a quiet, rural street which was ideal for resting between races. If we are back for another team event we will be sure to call here first. Might have to visit in the summer to enjoy the awesome deck and backyard.

"Hi D I have to thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful cottage you were a fabulous host and I believe we hit a home run with your place. The cottage had ample room for us guys and the gourmet kitchen was outstanding. The kitchen was so well equipped which made cooking a breeze and a pleasure cooking for a large group. With the large deck the views of the lake from the cottage were breath taking and with the gazebo on the water, with the beautiful beach was more than one could imagine. The ample parking space made parking a breeze. I would highly recommend this rental to all. You truly do have a diamond in the ruff and we will see you next year.
Cheers and thank you
