"What started as a boys weekend out, ended up with "We should bring the wives next time ". We originally needed 4 separate bedrooms. We're 4 men in our 50's who're beyond single, bunk beds or sharing a queen bed. There was plenty of room and privacy. The property was clean and functional. The garden and landscape were well maintained and beautiful! The beach access and privacy were fantastic. It also was less than an hour away from the ambassador bridge for those of us from the "states eh". The price was MORE than fair including the lack of deposits and cleaning fees. Darlene, Roland and nieces really have the right formula Here!"

"What a find! My fiancé and I decided last minute to look for a cottage for the Thanksgiving long weekend. We wanted a quiet place away from the city to just relax and enjoy the view. Well, lucky for us this cabin was available. It's exactly what we needed; no TV or internet = no distractions. Ed greeted us warmly on arrival and even left us a heater in the cottage as it was very chilly! We preferred to make fires in the wood burning stove to keep us warm, which provides a ton of heat. The view from the cottage is outstanding. We used the rowboat to try fishing but it was a bit windy. We made excellent meals in the BBQ. There is a firepit too! Just a short drive away (10-15 mins) we went hiking and wine tasting. The cheese factory is a must! Highly recommend this place - so clean and cozy and at a great price :)
We will be back and highly recommend!"

"This Cottage was an excellent place to stay in Niagara-on-the-lake; not only is kept very neat and tidy, it is only a block from Queen Street, where all the action is. What worked for us was the fact that it has 2 full baths and a powder room on the main floor. The house is very unique, well decorated and kept very well. Many people on their way to Queen street stop to take pictures of this house. The owner, himself was always readily availabe to answer any questions and was very accomodating when asked if we could drop off our bags and such early if necessary. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend staying here."

"A very enjoyable stay. We arrived late but were warmly welcomed by Karen and Rick. The house is spacious, well equipped and very clean. The pool area, as mentioned by other guests, is awesome. Relaxing in the steam room or sauna and then finishing off with a swim in the heated pool is the perfect way to end a day of sightseeing in downtown Ottawa or visiting some of the towns in the Ottawa valley. Will definitely be back."
