  • Everything you need and more

"A quiet scenic road takes to you to a beautiful, well maintained and unique cottage. From the shaded front porch you have a perfect peaceful lakefront view. Upon our first exploration of the interior, it seemed never ending. There is ample space for groups to gather in the living room, kitchen, dining room and an enormous backyard to play fetch with the dog. It is equipped with outdoor toys to keep the kids busy while you sit back and enjoy the deck. A fire pit in the back of the tree/bush lined yard provides a private setting to chat around the fire and roast marshmallows. Back inside the rooms are separated in two sections of the cottage, a set in the loft side and the others in the main house, lending plenty of opportunity for a quiet nap from a strenuous day of sun bathing, fishing and relaxing. Across the road lays a large dock equipped with a paddle boat and plastic boat. Both in great condition to take a tour around the bay. Even for inexperienced fishers, the fish were plentiful. Take the time to relax on the dock, dip your feet in the lake, and listen to the calm lapping water, as you watch the sun set over the lake. This cabin is equipped with everything you need an more. A full kitchen with plenty of small appliances, dishes, cookware, etc. It has all the comforts of home, and then some. The furniture is comfortable, there are plenty of bathrooms. It's equipped with fishing rods for those without, and hi-speed internet for those who have to stay in touch. The owners were patient, helpful and are extremely responsive to any questions and concerns before, during and after our visit, and were a pleasure to deal with. Our family from all around the world was thoroughly impressed by their first cottage experience. Thank you for a lovely stay."

  • Quiet and practical cottage on a beautiful lake

"We recently rented this cottage for a week long family reunion (grandparents, parents, 2 kids and 2 dogs, 9 people total), and had the greatest vacation we've had in years! The cottage is really well kept, with all the amenities necessary (including the linens, towels and some staple items for cooking). We really enjoyed the screened porch and the deck to relax or BBQ, and the front yard where the kids could play safely. On rainy days, the house is big enough so that people can enjoy their privacy and avoid getting "cabin fever", and with enough distractions (wifi, TV, boardgames and books) to wait for the rain to go away. Besides the awesomeness of the house, we felt like we were alone on the lake, whenever we would fish (plenty of sunfishes and bass in this lake) or go canoeing (we were able to all go on the lake at the same time with the paddle-boat, the canoes and the kayak!) we could enjoy the scenery all by ourselves. All in all we had a fantastic and relaxing week, and we really hope we can go back next Summer, Thanks M&M!"

  • Great Vacation With Extended Family

"One of the gauges we use about the quality of a family vacation is the response from our children when asked about returning. How about "yes! when are we coming back!" Three grandparents 6 siblings ages 10-25 and my wife and I had plenty of room to spread out, have space when needed, and all be together for meals, games and movies. We went on walks, runs, family swims around the island in front of the cabin, canoed, kayaked and enjoyed great fishing off the dock. We were lucky to be there the evening a family down the lake put on a spectacular fireworks display! What a great way to end the week. What a great vacation.!!!"

  • A True Treasure

"Treasure Island is a fitting name for the location of this lovely home. Ray and Ellen were great communicators and everything was as promised. The pictures say it all when it comes to the amenities and the beauty of staying here. Situated right on the St. Lawrence, the views are breathtaking and one cannot help but feeling like a welcomed guest in their very clean and tidy home. From the squirrel dropping acorns on our head to the fish jumping out of the river (which we could never catch), nature is all around and we felt very much a part of it. And, for all of our creature comforts, Kingston was only a 10 minute drive away, there are TV's galore, high speed Internet, and the tubs will relax away any tensions. A truly enjoyable stay and we highly recommend it to those wishing a beautiful home away from home. Many thanks!!"
