  • Perfect for an extended stay!

"We stayed for 3 weeks in January while in Toronto visiting our daughter for the birth of her first child. The apartment was perfect! A most convenient location with short walks (under 10 mins) to TTC and shopping on Danforth or in Gerrard Square in spite of the cold weather. The apartment I s well designed, spacious, very clean, attractively decorated and is most comfortable. The photos provide an excellent representation. The kitchen was a delight to use and was equipped with everything we needed to prepare our own meals (and many dinners for delivery to the new mom and dad). In spite of the extra cold weather, the apartment was warm and cozy with the gas fireplace providing additional warmth to a very comfortable living room which also faces south and gets any sun throughout the day. The third floor master bedroom is large with a luxurious ensuite bathroom, which has lovely natural light from the south facing window and is well appointed - I found the air jet soaker tub nicely invigorating. When we arrived in the middle of a snow storm, Wilfred was very welcoming and provided a helpful orientation to the apartment and area. He and Brad maintain a fabulous property and we would love to return."

  • Great family holiday in Toronto at Arts on Seaton!

"Our family of 6 had a great week-long stay at Arts on Seaton in Dec 2014 while attending the World Juniors. The house is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful and got in touch during our stay to see if we needed anything. There was plenty of room for everyone with 4 beautiful bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms (plus main floor powder room). The location was great! We walked 10 minutes to the Eaton Centre to get the subway and it was a quick ride to the ACC. Also visited the Aquarium, CN Tower, Casa Loma, Nathan Philips Square, Queen St. West, etc. Enjoyed eating at Jules Bistro, F'Amelia and Cluny's Bistro as well as watching the games at Real Sports Bar. Lots of restaurants, shops within walking distance and if the weather had been nicer we would have spent more time walking around exploring the neighborhood. We didn't rent a car and didn't need one to get around - even visited family in Pickering using the GO train. I would highly recommend this property and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!"

  • Fantastic retreat for a month in the city.

"I spent a month in the Garden View apartment and was incredibly pleased with my time there. It is a lovely apartment tastefully furnished and felt like a home. The owners Jen and Dave are amazing hosts and are available without being intrusive. The apartment is in a fantastic location just off College and very easy to get anywhere by public transit. The apartment is very close to the YMCA so if you need to hit the gym it is right there. I will definitely be renting this place again the next time I am in Toronto and have recommended Jen and Dave's apartments to others."

  • Great Place for Larger Groups!

"Myself and 5 others stayed in this walk-up for one week during the Toronto World Pride celebrations. The location was great, especially since the majority of us were new to Toronto. There were many amenities nearby, including many restaurants, a grocery store and liquor store. The house fit us all comfortably, and we all agreed it was much more economical than sharing a pair of hotel rooms. That being said there were certain drawbacks. Our main complaint was the heat. No AC or electric fans were provided which made being inside almost unbearable at times, and it was especially difficult trying to sleep in the upstairs bedroom. In addition the sink in one of the bathrooms did not drain properly, and this was not fixed despite our email to the owner. As well there was no soap in the bathrooms when we arrived; we had to purchase some ourselves. Nevertheless I would recommend this place for families or groups of friends looking to enjoy Toronto."
