  • Great Place To Stay in Blue Mountain!

"Our family spent a wonderful month at this beautiful property - very modern, very up-market, comfortable and spacious. All 4 bedrooms are large, as are the two upstairs bathrooms. Huge great room with fireplace and large-screen home-theater system. The large, center kitchen island is extremely convenient, and all appliances and cookware are top-notch; everything you need for preparing meals. There's a second home-theater system in the front living room, with comfortable seating. We all enjoyed the huge hot tub and fantastic sunsets from the back deck. The property is a easy walk to Blue Mountain Village and close to everything by car, including shopping, golf courses, restaurants, beaches, etc. It was a great base from which to enjoy the wide range of recreational activities in the area. The complex's pool and tennis courts are a short walk from the chalet. The owner Geoff was extremely well organized and very accommodating when we had questions. For example, an intense thunderstorm knocked out the Wi-Fi router one night, and he arranged for us to pick-up another one (in nearby Collingwood) the next morning! We've stayed in a wide variety of Blue Mountain properties over the years, and this was by far the most luxurious and enjoyable we've experienced. I'd recommend it to anyone thinking about staying in the area!"

  • Excellent time in cozy home with hot tub

"Dean's property has a beautiful view on the lake and the house is large and comfortable. 6 friends stayed the weekend as a getaway from Toronto and we very much enjoyed the hot tub, firepit, and kitchen, where we did a lot of cooking. If the weather was nicer we would have walked into Leamington or gone exploring, but there was easily enough to do in the house itself for a couple days."

  • Great place for a family stay-cation!

"Minutes from Buffalo, this Canadian lakefront vacation home allowed family members to come and go as needed, but had plenty of room for all of us to be together when time permitted. The home is roomy and well stocked. The pool, the view of Lake Erie, and the firepit were the highlights of our stay, as well as the bicycles in the garage which allowed the grandkids to ride with us along the Friendship Trail, only about 1/2 mile from the home. The gas and charcoal grills worked well and were very much appreciated. Our pets loved long walks up the beach to Thunder Bay. The homeowner was extremely helpful and pleasant throughout the experience, contacting us beforehand as well as during our stay. I would highly recommend this home for fellow Buffalonians who want to experience the Canadian lakeshore!"

  • Beautiful and relaxing!

"The Homestead was a wonderful property to spend our week in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Plenty of lovely rooms and space for our group (6 adults, 2 children). The house was incredibly well stocked with everything you could possibly need for a long stay; the kitchen has various pots/pans/cooking utensils (which came in quite handy for home cooked meals as we preferred to cook our own breakfast and stayed in on most nights), the backyard was spacious with a heated salt water pool and a grill (which again, we loved since we prefer to cook our own food), and imagine our surprise when we found a high chair and a "pack n' play" crib in one of the closets! This was super convenient for us since we were traveling with 2 small children (a 3 and 1 year old, respectively), and hadn't had room in the car to bring these amenities. The neighborhood was beautiful, relaxing, and only about a mile away from the main avenue in town, and about a 20 minute drive to the Niagara Falls area. The Homestead is also very close to many of the vineyards, making winery hopping stress free. Bill was attentive and answered all of my emails almost immediately; it was nice to know we could easily contact him if we needed anything. We fell in love with this property and cant wait to visit again next year."
