  • Loved it

"We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. Booking and payment was very smooth. Francis picked us up at the airport and took us the scenic route into town and allowed us to pick up supplies. He was very friendly and a fony of interesting and useful information. The apartment is in a very nice building with good security. We were welcomed by a basket of fruit and a fantastic view. It is very nicely decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and had a pantry with more spices than we have a home. Large flat screen TV and comfy couch in front of a fireplace. Large balcony with great sunsets. Location is perfect-just across a park from Fisherman's Wharf. Great walks to Ogden Point and downtown along the sea wall. Supermarket and wine store 15 minutes walk. Bus right outside and a great seafood truck and store next door. Thanks for allowing us to stay."

"The house is amazing and perfectly located just outside the village and in front of the bus stop and mkt place. Mila is such a nice person and was always ready to help. Barbecue and Hottub are awesome. Grateful for choosing this spot. Would definitely return!"

  • ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC HOUSE & ANEIMITIES-HAD THE TIME OF OUR LIVES!!!!!

"We stayed at the Beach House June 20-23, 2014. It was as wonderful as described, but even better! A magical time was had by all. We were a party of 10. 5 adults, 5 children ranging in ages from 17 months to 17 years old. We got together as a family for the first time in years & had not met some of our grand children. I cannot begin to describe just how wonderful this house & all it contained was. The view alone was breathtaking, kitchen fantastic, bedrooms, baths, & all areas of the house were clean, neat & very well kept. The laundry & dishwasher were used every day. The kitchen had enough dinnerware for our army & just about everything possible we could have needed. Kerry & Christyne have added personal touches & tried to imagine everything possible for children & adults to keep themselves busy when not enjoying the beach. The chairs facing the beach in the picture show exactly what you will see. A wonderful spot to watch cruise ships, ferries, boats, etc sail by or just sit with a drink or coffee and contemplate life. The outdoor grill was great, as my son-in-law had caught salmon, & we cooked out in the evenings. The hot tub was extremely relaxing for the adults after a long day. The kayaks (life jackets provided), croquet, table tennis, volley ball, beach buckets & equipment, & all the numerous toys were an extra nice touch & kept even our littlest one entertained. Although there was a large video library, the TV did not come on once. There was so much for us to do & we knew immediately 3 days were not going to be enough. The wildlife coming onto the property was very exciting, especially for the 17 month old. Quallicum beach was a short trip from the house & afforded us a long low tide in the morning to hunt for sand dollars, starfish, shells, & crabs. The market at Coombs with the goats on the roof was fun & the variety of flavors of ice cream available were too numerous to mention. We plan to Visit this house yearly & will be staying for a week or two, if Kerry & Christyne will have us. We wish we hadn't waited this long, unfortunately jobs & being so far away made it difficult until this year. Again I can not say enough about our wonderful visit at this fantastic house. We have become repeat customers for ever!!"

  • Great For Family With Young Kids

"We spent two enjoyable weeks in the South Okanagan Beach Bungalow. The beach was perfect for our 8 and 6 year old. Sand for sandcastles galore and shallow enough that the kids could walk out forever and still only be up to their waist. We rented kids kayaks on the beach for a very reasonable $5 per hour. The bungalow was close enough to the beach that we had no problem loading up the inflatable boat with towels, chairs, cooler and sand toys and walking the 5 minutes. The spray park was fun and the playground excellent. Penticton was a quick 15 minute drive down Eastside Road for mini golf on the cloudy days. Of course a little adult time at the many wineries was also enjoyed. There is no TV service but the WiFi was excellent. We made use of it on our two rainy days to watch some Netflix. Otherwise we were pleased to be off the grid. The bungalow is modest but suited us well as we don't need granite counters and stainless steel on vacation. It is well maintained but definitely 1950's era. It was large enough for our family of four and grandma and grandpa without feeling crowded. The large backyard provided additional play space for frisbee or football tossing. Diana was fantastic at answering all questions and making us feel comfortable in our selection. Definitely consider this well priced option for your vacation."
