  • Pristine home with to-be-seen water view, very close to Cavendish!

"The home was so pristine and charming. It was very spacious, with 3 sitting rooms/living rooms. There was a generous welcoming gift with both sweet and salty goodies. All kitchen appliances looked new and worked well, there were many dishes to use as well as oils, spices and condiments, even coffee and coffee filters! The beds were very comfortable and there were many fans to keep you cool at night. All the linens were very clean and of high quality. The deck was so welcoming and relaxing, even in the rain, and plenty of seating for many guests. We wish we could bring this water view to our own back yard! We had coffee and breakfast on the deck every morning. We had fun playing the board games found in the closet, especially Apples to Apples. It was a lovely vacation spot that brought relaxation to our small family group, aged 12-79! Thanks!"

  • Very peaceful and pleasant vacation home!

"My husband and I so enjoyed our time at Whitesails! The cottage is welcoming, beautifully decorated, perfectly located, and well equipped. We cooked most meals in and the kitchen is greatly stocked, plus it was nice having the grill out the back door. We loved the gorgeous view from the living room of the harbor. The bed was more comfortable than my own! Having the washer/dryer on site was nice. The wifi worked great. We enjoyed the bikes in the garage. The location of the cottage was another huge plus. Having never been to the island before, we just hoped we were making a good choice of where to stay and it couldn't have been any better - very central to everything. Beyond the cottage - the island has so many things to offer! We biked to Cavendish one day, did the nature trails in the National Park another day, and we enjoyed the walking the boardwalk daily. Anne and Gilbert the Musical is Charlottetown was great. We loved driving around looking for lighthouses and the beautiful heritage roads. And the Charter Bank tour was really neat as well. Prince Edward Island made for a perfect vacation and we are very thankful for such wonderful owners opening up their cottage!"

  • Old fashioned charm

"My two teenage girls and I were visiting PEI for an "Anne trip" and this was the perfect home base for our stay. The fact that the house was from the same time period and had gable rooms just added to the excitement for my girls. It was in a great location for all we wanted to see and the hosts were helpful and friendly. The house had all we needed and more. It would be a great place for a larger family as well. The views were beautiful and we wished the weather was a little warmer to enjoy the wonderful yard."

  • A real Gem!

"This house is amazing! The photos don't do it justice! We had 12 people in our group and there was more than enough room for everyone to feel like they had their own space. It is in a fabulous location - a beautiful country retreat minutes away from one of the most beautiful beaches on the East coast! We made great use of the free Provincial park pass that Debbie and Garner provided and could drive to Cavendish beach in 5 minutes. The house is also very close to a cute little town called North Rustico. It has a great playground for small children, yummy bakery, fresh seafood and deep sea fishing trips, coffee shop, grocery store and another nice beach (quieter than Cavendish). The house itself is super clean, is equipped with everything you would ever need (the laundry is a huge plus!) and so many activities for kids and adults. We were particularly impressed with the huge selection of board games for kids. The adults in our group loved relaxing in the hot tub under the stars. Debbie and Garner responded quickly to all our questions and were so warm and welcoming. We had such a positive experience and would highly recommend this home! It truly did feel like a 'home away from home'. Thank you Debbie and Garner!!"
