"This charming house is so perfectly located on the island..The description given property is very accurate. It is so private, very quiet and peaceful. The house is very well stocked and so perfectly furnished...very comfortable.
We have a dog and the front yard was perfect for her to run around and there is a wonderful beach minutes away that is dog friendly. At this time of year the beach was usually empty when we went. We also found other wonderful beaches close by that allowed dogs too...
Malpeque harbor is minutes away if you want to buy fresh (off the boat) lobster and a fisheries outlet is 10 minutes away if you want other (oysters, mussels, clams).
Darnley house was a perfect place for our 2 week vacation. We drove the whole island and it was so nice to come home to.
Cathy was lovely to deal with before and during our rental. We would certainly recommend it to friends and family and plan to return next year."

"We stayed at the Nautical Star for a 5 day golf holiday. Kitchen was very well equipped, so much that we had three in house dinners with fresh local seafood and fish purchased from local fishmongers. My husband was delighted to see there even was a Big Green Egg BBQ, as well as two other gas bbqs. The outdoor shower was also a bonus."

"Great location - very central to the Anne sights, and near a great beach! Nice family home - very clean and modern with great kitchen. Living room/lounging area a bit small for our group of 7 - no place to get away from the crowd. Master Bdrm fabulous! Other bdrms very small - only good for sleeping. Owners/staff wonderful! Responsive to questions and have a great FAQ notebook. Also have big video library for rainy days. Over an hour to get to Charlottetown if you've never been...
The owners suggest buying pre-cooked lobsters in the next town (5 min drive) - great idea to avoid the cooking - good price, and yummy (if a bit messy).
Not a good choice for someone with mobility issues. Bedrooms are all on second floor - Stairs are a bit steep and go around a corner, so difficult to manage."

"What can we say - We loved our stay!
The cottage was spacious and equipped with anything we could have wanted or needed. The views of the Darnley Basin from the covered porch were great and we had many great sunsets and watched bald eagles on the eagle stand with the binoculars provided. All the rooms were very spacious, comfortable and we loved the outdoor shower.
We loved the close access (bottom of the street) to both the Darley Basin and Thunder Cove beach ( a quick 2 min drive, and walkable)and spent many hours walking the shoreline enjoying the red cliffs and dunes and wading in the Basin exploring the Basin floor.
The location was great - a quiet location, not far to Kensington, where the confederation trail runs though, or to Cavendish and under an hour to Charlottetown.
We didn't want to leave and we will definately be back next year.
Thank you, Lewis Family!!"
