"We had high expectations for this property but when we arrived all of our expectations were exceeded! With 3 young kids, we had planned to do many of the usual "touristy" things that PEI had to offer. Once we arrived at the property, we cancelled most of what we had planned and spent most of our time on the beach!
We plan to come back again next year!"

"We had a girls getaway at this exceptionally clean and comfortable cottage for a week in June of 2015. The expansive view from the cottage was a delight to wake up to each day, watching the fishing boats, sometimes 10 at a time from the large picture windows. The beds were very comfortable, and I loved that one of the bedrooms had two double beds instead of the normal twins or twin over a double. However, I must say that my most favorite part of the week was the ability to walk out the door and down to one of the most beautiful beaches on the North Shore where we could walk for seemingly miles! Also, riding bikes around the neighborhood and greeting the horses in the pasture as we returned home from Island adventures every day made it a most memorable week! The owner David was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend this adorable cottage."

"Upon arrival we immediately knew we had made the right choice - the house is immaculate, everything you could want or need, the beach is so wonderful, and the whole vacation home community was so peaceful. We went to the beach everyday, even the grey days, we did family art around the big kitchen table, we sat on the deck and the wind kept the bugs at bay, the one chilly, rainy night we put the fire on and listened to music, we sat in the sun room in the morning and drank our coffee and drank in the view. We had a campfire, we read books, we flied kites, had a catch, slept in, got up early, ate great food, we never used the television once - one week was not enough. Kensington is a hop away for groceries and supplies, Cavendish is right there to fulfill any tourist needs - BUT WHY WOULD YOU GO - the beach here is 1000X's better and we would regularly comment "WHOA beach is packed today!" - with all 50 other people. I kayaked one of the calm days and saw a flower pot (similar to Fundy) to the left and so we hiked/swam around the point to get a closer look and it was a great little adventure. NEW POTATOES!!!!! Stop at the little veg stands (have cash) and definitely, definitely buy some strawberry and grand marnier jam from the PEI Preserve Company to have on your morning toast. We would go back tomorrow!!!"

"North Rustico and Whitesails was the perfect location for a vacation on PEI. The small village has everything you would need while on a vacation. The view from the house is beautiful and we enjoyed watching the ospreys fishing, the herons stalking and the foxes gambolling in the backyard.
We found excellent restaurants The Dunes, The Mill in New Glasgow and The Pearl just down the road towards Cavendish. The locals were very friendly and helpful especially the mechanic at the local service station who diagnosed what we thought was a tire problem and refused any payment. This area on the North Shore is certainly the most beautiful part of the island.
