Recent Anne's Land reviews

  • Just talking with the owner

"I haven't stayed there yet but have booked it for July 4-7. I just wanted to write a review now because the owner was such a delight to speak with. She definitely made the whole thing easy and we are very excited to go. I will write another review after our stay, but book this place cause the owner makes it worth the while!!!!! Megan"

  • Lovely spot to stay

"Great location - very central to the Anne sights, and near a great beach! Nice family home - very clean and modern with great kitchen. Living room/lounging area a bit small for our group of 7 - no place to get away from the crowd. Master Bdrm fabulous! Other bdrms very small - only good for sleeping. Owners/staff wonderful! Responsive to questions and have a great FAQ notebook. Also have big video library for rainy days. Over an hour to get to Charlottetown if you've never been... The owners suggest buying pre-cooked lobsters in the next town (5 min drive) - great idea to avoid the cooking - good price, and yummy (if a bit messy). Not a good choice for someone with mobility issues. Bedrooms are all on second floor - Stairs are a bit steep and go around a corner, so difficult to manage."

  • Beautiful PEI Cottage

"My husband and I could not have been more satisfied with our stay at this cottage. It was beautifully decorated, clean, and had all the amenities we could ever need... all we had to do was bring some food and our clothes! The open kitchen concept was great for cooking the lobster and mussels we picked up in Stanley Bridge and the fireplace kept us toasty warm in the evenings when the temperature dropped outside. The cottage is beautiful and the location is breathtaking! We could not recommend this cottage more!!"

  • highly recommended!

"What can we say - We loved our stay! The cottage was spacious and equipped with anything we could have wanted or needed. The views of the Darnley Basin from the covered porch were great and we had many great sunsets and watched bald eagles on the eagle stand with the binoculars provided. All the rooms were very spacious, comfortable and we loved the outdoor shower. We loved the close access (bottom of the street) to both the Darley Basin and Thunder Cove beach ( a quick 2 min drive, and walkable)and spent many hours walking the shoreline enjoying the red cliffs and dunes and wading in the Basin exploring the Basin floor. The location was great - a quiet location, not far to Kensington, where the confederation trail runs though, or to Cavendish and under an hour to Charlottetown. We didn't want to leave and we will definately be back next year. Thank you, Lewis Family!!"
