"We are still glowing from all wonderful memories of our stay on PEI! The cottage was perfect for us and had everything we could ever need. We enjoyed the view of the water and islands from the deck, as well as the stars at night. We had morning visits from a cute little fox, but we only took photos and gave him no food. We loved Anne of Green Gables, The Musical! Thanks for sending the information on that. Everything was wonderful and we have a long list of "to-do's" for next time. Your binder of things-to-do was constantly with us all week and all the brochures were very useful. The cottage was so comfortable and had everything we needed! Many thanks!"

  • Perfect for Families

"My husband and I stayed at the Emerald Isle Beach House with our children ages 8 &10, my parents and two dogs. This is the perfect vacation home for anyone looking to get away and relax on a private and beautiful beach. Pauline and Ernie were exceptional hosts who provided us with great suggestions for the area and responded to any questions we had during our week. The Beach House is absolutely gorgeous and was immaculate upon our arrival. We felt immediately comfortable and relaxed. All we needed to do was bring our personal belongings and pick up some food on our way into town. We wanted for nothing else in the home. Best vacation rental home we have ever stayed in!"

  • Explore PEI from this beautiful home

"We stayed for one week at this beautiful home. This is a large home, with expansive views of rolling farmland and an unobstructed, view of the ocean. The home is very well maintained, comfortable and tastefully furnished. We enjoyed the local beaches (warm water), bike rides, great seafood and just relaxing in the perfect weather during our stay. The location is quiet and very private, although the the wireless internet also allowed us to stay connected. The landscape of PEI is spectacular and there is plenty to explore."

  • A Serene Getaway

"We arrived a sunny day in mid-July to the raucous sounds of drag racing. The house is indeed lovely and nestled on a quiet dead-end street; however it is in close proximity to a drag racing/speed racing track and the drone of the cars went on for hours (on Saturday and on Thursday evening). Every other night we had only the company of birds, insects and the howling wind: it was ethereal. It was also a nice touch to arrive and find a lovely note from the owners who left both a Pass to the National Parks for us to use, as well as a chilled bottle of wine for us to enjoy while watching the sunset. The house provides for anything you might require in terms of furnishings (indoor and outdoor) and equipment. We availed ourselves of the washer/dryer every other day, as well as the central vac. The kitchen is functional and well-equipped. Everything is new and well-taken care of. There is no air conditioning, however each bedroom boasts a ceiling fan. These are hardly needed though, as a constant breeze comes up from the water keeping the house cool and comfortable. Paul, the property manager, was easily reachable by phone or email. He was professional and responsive. Although there was nothing amiss with out stay overall and we would happily return, there are some items to consider in terms of improving the experience. Neither the beds, nor the pillows, were comfortable. Have on hand for renters a PEI island guide and highway maps, so they may start planning their next day right away. (We left our brochures at the house for the next renters). Provide a quick reference guide to the nearest local Liquor store, gas station, food market and such - so that renters can access provisions as soon as required. Knowing when garbage and recycling days occur would also have been helpful. The lack of easy access to the beach was a disappointment: perhaps consider building a landing with stairs so that renters can make their way down from the house and not have to walk down the length of the road in its entirety to reach it. (Or perhaps this isn't permitted by by-law?) We are frequent VRBO clients, from Maine to Arizona and Mexico and many regions in Canada. We recommend this Oyster Bed Bridge waterfront retreat."
