  • Sweet and relaxing oasis of serenity

"This lovely little piece of heaven was just what the doctor ordered! So close to everything we could possibly want to see or do, including treks along the beach, walks in the national park, fishing, sight seeing and more... And yet secluded enough for us to get away from it all and enjoy some romantic alone time. We loved it all and can't wait to come back. Owners Barb and Dales simply made the experience perfect. :)"

  • highly recommended!

"What can we say - We loved our stay! The cottage was spacious and equipped with anything we could have wanted or needed. The views of the Darnley Basin from the covered porch were great and we had many great sunsets and watched bald eagles on the eagle stand with the binoculars provided. All the rooms were very spacious, comfortable and we loved the outdoor shower. We loved the close access (bottom of the street) to both the Darley Basin and Thunder Cove beach ( a quick 2 min drive, and walkable)and spent many hours walking the shoreline enjoying the red cliffs and dunes and wading in the Basin exploring the Basin floor. The location was great - a quiet location, not far to Kensington, where the confederation trail runs though, or to Cavendish and under an hour to Charlottetown. We didn't want to leave and we will definately be back next year. Thank you, Lewis Family!!"

  • Pristine home with to-be-seen water view, very close to Cavendish!

"The home was so pristine and charming. It was very spacious, with 3 sitting rooms/living rooms. There was a generous welcoming gift with both sweet and salty goodies. All kitchen appliances looked new and worked well, there were many dishes to use as well as oils, spices and condiments, even coffee and coffee filters! The beds were very comfortable and there were many fans to keep you cool at night. All the linens were very clean and of high quality. The deck was so welcoming and relaxing, even in the rain, and plenty of seating for many guests. We wish we could bring this water view to our own back yard! We had coffee and breakfast on the deck every morning. We had fun playing the board games found in the closet, especially Apples to Apples. It was a lovely vacation spot that brought relaxation to our small family group, aged 12-79! Thanks!"

  • Old fashioned charm

"My two teenage girls and I were visiting PEI for an "Anne trip" and this was the perfect home base for our stay. The fact that the house was from the same time period and had gable rooms just added to the excitement for my girls. It was in a great location for all we wanted to see and the hosts were helpful and friendly. The house had all we needed and more. It would be a great place for a larger family as well. The views were beautiful and we wished the weather was a little warmer to enjoy the wonderful yard."
