"We were completely taken aback when we walked into the house. The pictures do not do it justice. The house was huge and immaculately clean.
On the kitchen counter was a note to welcome us and a plate of homemade (yummy) muffins. The fridge had been stocked for our arrival with milk, cream , peanut butter some beer and a bottle of wine. There was a container of coffee and tea as well. No need to hit the grocery store after a long day of travelling
The bedrooms are huge and beds super comfortable. Plenty of closet space as well. The bathrooms had tons of towels, blow drier and beautiful hand-soap. The hot water was plentiful and water pressure high.
The location makes travelling around the island very easy. There are plenty of grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The neighbourhood is lovely for a stroll as well
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend highly"

"My 20+ year older daughter and I spent five days in Charlottetown living in this beautiful vacation apartment. It is 5-10 minutes to walk to the downtown area. Lots of small restaurants and bars with live local music. We went out for lunch everyday (usually mussels and raw oysters) but had supper at home barbequeing seafood kabobs and fish on the Weber barbeque on the back deck. My daughter biked to Sobey's to pick up groceries. (Otherwise you need a car or taxi.) You can buy lobster, shrimp and catch of the day from a local restaurant (on the corner of Prince and Water). We would love to come back again and we have already recommended this apartnment to friends who are coming to PEI later in the summer. Lots to shop for in Charlottetown - lovely jewlery and scarves for women. The apartment is near the waterfront and boardwalk - we spent a lot of time walking everywhere. Thank-you Heather and Don!"

"From the moment we walked into the Garden Suite at The Black House, it was obvious that this luxury apartment was special. To say that the suite has been built and decorated with an attention to detail, would be a serious understatement. Exposed beams, skylight, huge windows, and gorgeous wooden floors make the space cozy and bright. The kitchen has every gadget/tool you could ever want - all high end products too. The owners really thought of the details when finishing this house. The "new-school" radiators keep you warm in every area of the suite, and the warm lighting really makes the space glow at night. Both bathrooms are stunning. The decor of the suite really is breath taking. My wife and I were greeted by a lovely welcome on the chalkboard and a bottle of wine and card. The owner (James) and local host (April) and property manager (Paul) all went above and beyond to make our stay a special experience. We never wanted to leave."
