"My family of 4 just returned from a week stay at this beautiful home. The listing description and photos were accurate, yet in person the home exceeded our expectations! Potato fields and water views from nearly every window. Such a peaceful, beautiful setting. Enjoyed morning walks, runs or bike rides on the neighboring streets. Great time canoeing the Grand River from the backyard! Very comfortable, IMMACULATE, fantastic 2 person tub, central A/C, laundry room and fully equipped kitchen made for such a perfect stay. Home included movies, books, games and puzzles to enjoy in the evenings after touring the island. Location was convenient allowing us to explore different areas of the island such as North Cape, Cape Egmont (loved the glass houses), Cavendish, Charlottetown for a musical, Lennox Island, Belmont Park and Summerside. We ran out of time to explore the eastern side. Close enough to the bridge to allow for a day in Nova Scotia. A car is definitely needed on this island. Much large than we expected. Coastal drives are a must and PEI National Park! Just bring some bug spray for the evenings if planning on sitting outdoors. Home is also very pet friendly with vast yard to explore. Found photo album detailing the home restoration project. The painstaking labor to restore all the woodwork created quite an exquisite outcome for guests to enjoy. Owner was very helpful in answering all our questions. Only confusing item was the trash recycling. We've recycled for years but yet didn't know trash could be divided into so many parts!. PEI is ahead of the game as far as sustainability goes with their recycling and numerous turbines lining the landscape. Gorgeous island and home ..... we highly recommend this home to families or those wanting a romantic or quiet escape!"

  • Pristine home with to-be-seen water view, very close to Cavendish!

"The home was so pristine and charming. It was very spacious, with 3 sitting rooms/living rooms. There was a generous welcoming gift with both sweet and salty goodies. All kitchen appliances looked new and worked well, there were many dishes to use as well as oils, spices and condiments, even coffee and coffee filters! The beds were very comfortable and there were many fans to keep you cool at night. All the linens were very clean and of high quality. The deck was so welcoming and relaxing, even in the rain, and plenty of seating for many guests. We wish we could bring this water view to our own back yard! We had coffee and breakfast on the deck every morning. We had fun playing the board games found in the closet, especially Apples to Apples. It was a lovely vacation spot that brought relaxation to our small family group, aged 12-79! Thanks!"

  • PEI Paradise

"This beautiful summer home is a VRBO gem. Our family of 4 had a wonderful 10 day holiday!! The home is tastefully decorated and thoughtfully well equipped to facilitate a fast track into vacation mode. Whatever you need is there (including a garlic press and lobster bibs) in the well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed classical music on the Bose stereo system while using the BBQ to prepare locally purchased fresh seafood. We often enjoyed beginning and ending our days sitting on the spacious front porch surrounded by the flowers and watching the golfers on the horizon. Our teens made good use of the wifi and the satellite TV. The location is convenient to Charlottetown, world class beaches in the National Park and everything that was on our must see list. The owners were a pleasure to communicate with. They are truly beautiful people. They have excellent friends/neighbours who welcomed us and helped to orient us with our surroundings upon our arrival. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to stay at this lovely home and to have experienced PEI in the way that we did. I would not hesitate to recommend this vacation rental if you are looking for a classy and relaxing vacation. Many, many thanks!"

  • Beyond our expectations!!!!

"This is our first VRBO experience. Upon arrival we were astounded by how well equiped the apartment was. No detail has been left out in preparing this home away from home!!! Our hostess Sandra was super helpful in providing a brief orientation chuck full of useful information. The location is truly in the hub with the boardwalk, and downtown dining/shopping is an easy 10 minute walk. We spent three wonderful nights here and presently are enjoying the lovely working fireplace on a night unexpectedly chilly with the provided three hour logs. Sandra has covered all scenarios with meticulous detail. This place is five-star all the way!!!! Look no further people! You have arrived. Thanks Sandra."
