Great Experience and a fantastic unobstructed view!
"We had the pleasure of staying in this condo for two nights with another family. It was our second time there but we thoroughly enjoyed our accommodation. The condo is a stone throw away from the pool/hot tub and tennis courts. The lodging is really clean and well equipped with everything you need and like a home away from home. If it wasn't too far from Toronto we would definitely be visiting more often. Highly recommended for large families or groups!. The owner replies instantly and is available at any time. Great experience and a fantastic unobstructed view !"

"We had a family reunion that included Christmas Day, that included some coming and going over the week from four families, from grandparents to young children. We stayed in the Iroquois chalet, and found it warm and cosy what with the log-style, wonderfully spatious, especially being on three levels, enjoyed the view of twinkling lights of other chalets higher up on the hill, enjoyed the hot tub, and made good use of the ping pong table. The kitchen could use some greater variety of dishes; there are some small handy-man type repairs needed here and there and the dishwasher struggled to do its job, but NONE, absolutely none of that took away from our enjoyment. As luck would have it, we had snow only for the first half. We did get in some skiing at Tremblant which is a half hour drive away but an easy drive; grocery shopping at St Jovite was enjoyable; we bought a Christmas tree there; we had enjoyable walks with grandparents and the dog around (small) Blueberry lake, found outdoor ice at Labelle, but alas, there wasn't enough snow for any cross country skiing at the resort). On the last half of our week, a serious melt began such that the lake and resort skating rink turned to water, and then high winds knocked out power for 15 hours on Christmas Day! But this is where we can not praise enough the friendly staff at the reception: they stepped in with wood to keep our fireplace going, drinking water, and candles. All made for a memorable Christmas."

Le Franchar on Ile d'Orleans - with Lyse & Gus Drouin
"We arrived late afternoon Saturday, July 4, and immediately fell in love with the property and apartment. It would be impossible to find a better rental property for the money, and Gus and Lyse are the PERFECT hosts. They were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. Ile d'Orleans is a wonderful, quaint, relaxing island just a few miles from Quebec City. We were able to do a lot of different things during our 5-day stay, including visiting Quebec City & Montmorency Falls, driving on the Cote-du-Beaupre and seeing the AWESOME St. Anne de Beaupre cathedral, and taking a leisurely day to drive around the island. The strawberries were in season and available at numerous roadside stands, and they were outstanding! Everything was great, but having hosts like Lyse and Gus really was the icing on the cake. We will definitely recommend this property to friends, and we hope to visit the Drouins again in the future.
