  • wonderful getaway for families

"We absolutely loved the property! My husband, myself and our 3 little ones (1 boy 10 yrs, 1 girl 6 yrs, and 1 boy 4 yrs.) had plenty of room to roam around the house without feeling like we were on top of one another. The area is beautiful, and the full kitchen was definitely a plus. It gave us the freedom to go to the local store to purchase groceries to prepare there at the house. The house is far enough from the hectic Montreal atmosphere, but close enough to local shops, and attractions. We found some wonderful things to do in the area that were fun, and family friendly activity wise, and money wise as well. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a relaxing time or someone who has a family that needs space to expand out in a warm cozy atmosphere. It was winter time so the lake was beautiful to look at but the weather was to cold for hiking in the area or swimming of course. Loved the house, Walter is a joy to work with and very understanding to the needs of a traveler. We would love to return to the area."

"This was a perfect place for a large group. It was spacious, immaculate and very comfortable. The ski in ski out access was easy and fun for the whole group. Ralph was great with pre arrival communication and we were even able to get into the unit a little early. Tremblant was a very friendly mountain, first time for all of us and we would certainly go back. There did not appear to be a base lodge but plenty of restaurants and shops to chose from. There is a large lodge at the top of the mountain, so on our last day, after check out, we brought our lunch up there and all met. We also enjoyed skating and tubing. The tubing was complimentary with our stay which was a nice surprise. We had excellent fondu in town one night...($$$$) a great experience."

  • Wish we stayed longer!

"If this was a ten star rating, we would give it a ten! The pictures are true to show the clean, upscale decorating, but what are not shown are the two biggest bonuses: a roof top terrace with a 360 view of Old City Quebec, and a waterfront view of the marina/port! Included in the rental are all linens, well-stocked kitchen (including coffee) to prepare meals, wifi and free parking pass. Walking distance to basically everywhere you need to go within Quebec: Lower and Upper City, food market, bike rental, bus stop, and the historic sites. We didn't need our car until we sadly had to leave. 3 Queen beds were very comfortable and the condo was very quiet for sleeping. Just want to point out that there are no private bedrooms, but the beds are spaced out nicely so my family did not feel like we were all sleeping next to each other. We are extremely pleased with our stay and we definitely are recommending this condo! The owner and staff were also very pleasant and accomodating! And thank you all for making our stay special and memorable!"

"We had a family reunion that included Christmas Day, that included some coming and going over the week from four families, from grandparents to young children. We stayed in the Iroquois chalet, and found it warm and cosy what with the log-style, wonderfully spatious, especially being on three levels, enjoyed the view of twinkling lights of other chalets higher up on the hill, enjoyed the hot tub, and made good use of the ping pong table. The kitchen could use some greater variety of dishes; there are some small handy-man type repairs needed here and there and the dishwasher struggled to do its job, but NONE, absolutely none of that took away from our enjoyment. As luck would have it, we had snow only for the first half. We did get in some skiing at Tremblant which is a half hour drive away but an easy drive; grocery shopping at St Jovite was enjoyable; we bought a Christmas tree there; we had enjoyable walks with grandparents and the dog around (small) Blueberry lake, found outdoor ice at Labelle, but alas, there wasn't enough snow for any cross country skiing at the resort). On the last half of our week, a serious melt began such that the lake and resort skating rink turned to water, and then high winds knocked out power for 15 hours on Christmas Day! But this is where we can not praise enough the friendly staff at the reception: they stepped in with wood to keep our fireplace going, drinking water, and candles. All made for a memorable Christmas."
