  • Wonderful apartment

"I spend 15 days with my family in this apartment. It was wonderful. The apartment is very comfortable, big and has everything that we need. There is a local market (very good) in front. We didn't use the public transport, but it was possible to see the bus passing across the street. I really recommend this place to stay!!!"

  • Great home, perfect location

"Great place, incredibly well stocked (we lacked for nothing), truly in the "heart of the Plateau". Walking distance to everything, market right below (buy your wine and beer there... cheap), Metro a few blocks away, Bixi bike share stations everywhere, close to some of the best parks in Montreal, and sandwiched between some of the City's best streets (St. Laurent and St. Denis). Spent a few days there with my wife and our two young kids and we all loved it. No car, walked everywhere. Great place for families (though be mindful of the steep front steps if you have kids that are still wobbly). Very hard to leave. Felt very much like a home. We will definitely be back!"

  • Excellent Location

"Had a group of 7 guys from the States up to Montreal for a 3-day trip. The apartment was as advertised. It was very clean, although we didn't plan on using the kitchen, a large refrigerator was nice to have. We purchased the optional parking spot too which was peace of mind. The location was fantastic – we could walk everywhere – Old Montreal, St-Laurent, Crescent, etc. so we saved a lot on cab fare. Wi-fi was also extremely helpful to have since most couldn't incur roaming charges, and the building was very quiet, with solid walls to hold in the sound. On a separate note, it couldn't have been more of a pleasure renting from the owner. We met her a few times over the weekend. Once by accident and the second time in response to an issue with our Wi-fi, which was resolved almost immediately. She also left a book of restaurants to try which they created themselves. We tried their first recommendation for brunch at L’Avenue which was one of the best brunches I’ve had in recent memory. Lastly, it was a HUGE bonus to not worry about towels, linens, shampoo and soap. There were at least 2 towels available per person and everything including the pillows and pillow cases were very clean upon arrival."

  • Beautiful views and spacious, yet comfortable! Perfect place to relax!

"Our family had a wonderful 2 week vacation at this home. There was plenty of space for our 5 children (ages 5-14) to hang out inside and explore outside. Very safe, secure location; this is big for me with small children so I don't feel like I have to be like a hawk watching them every second. And actually I felt very relaxed everywhere I was in the whole area. The views from every window (and there are lots of them!) were breathtaking. Very private yet only a few minutes from the grocery and 15 minutes from Montavila...a great place for all ages...tubing, skiing, rafting, etc. The locals are very friendly and the maintenance guys take great care of the walkways, deck, yard, hottub, and everything all around. I am cold natured and was a little concerned about the large windows and cold weather, but the house was nice and toasty when we arrived and had great heating. I enjoy cooking food for my family and the kitchen had very nice appliances and dishes. Since we were there in the winter, we weren't able to enjoy the pool, but I'm sure it would be great for the warm season. We did enjoy the hottub and the easy access in and out. We visited the LaChute Baptist Church (about 25 minutes) and loved all the people there...they were very welcoming and we made some new friends, even the kids! Montreal is only about 45 minutes and we visited the Biodome, which was very interesting and went to see Disney's Frozen on Ice at the Bell Centre. Fantastic! We also went to Aventure Plein Air and enjoyed the dogsledding (our favorite...even our 12 year old was able to drive the sled!), excellent food, and tubing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and many other winter activities for the family. The location was great for us, wanting to get away from it all and enjoy lots of quality family time. Totally relaxing and peaceful environment! Comfy beds and bedding, plenty of towels and beautiful, comfortable furniture...delightful! and close to lots of fun things to do! If you are looking for the perfect winter vacation spot, this is it! and I can imagine it is even better, if possible, in the summer!"
