  • Family whistler getaway

"This is our go-to place when we come to whistler with our family. It sleeps all 5 of us comfortably, with room to spare. The kitchen allows us to dine in, and relax with a home cooked dinner after a long day of skiing. The kids favorite part is the outdoor hot tub and pool. Our favorite part is having Starbucks, and the Marketplace right across the street- a quick 5 min walk. Comfortable, clean, and cozy! This makes for the perfect family whistler getaway!"

  • 5 star quality in every way!

"West Coast modern luxury..... a beautiful, open floor plan, high ceilings, architecturally thought out to fit the land incredibly. The floor to ceiling windows made it feel like I was falling asleep and waking up in the outdoors. Heather and Bob were such gracious hosts and the grounds are so nice to walk and spend time in. Our dog loved it too..... his daily walks by the ocean foraging for sticks and starfish!! You will not be disappointed. So many unique and special things about this place to mention........"

  • 200 year old house

"We spent 4 days in this lovely old home and loved it. Ages ranged from 16 months to 86 years old. Loved the open concept kitchen, dining room and little conversation nook. I think we spent most of our time in this part of the house. Unfortunately weather did not cooperate for us to take advantage of the bikes etc. but did manage to visit cheese factory, cider and winery."

  • Truly an Island Gem!

"Our party of six recently returned to Northern Ontario after a one week stay at Fairfield House and we are already talking about returning again with a larger group! To say that our stay in this beautiful oceanfront century home was magical would be an understatement. In fact, I would easily attribute such glowing accolades at the risk of sounding over romantic, but with good reason. This home is spacious, bright, functional, beautifully appointed, private, updated, clean and happily situated on the scenic Augustine Cove. Although a historic house, it has new bathrooms and a very well stocked kitchen. There is also a spacious room with new laundry facilities and a walk-in ironing room. There are two living rooms with very comfortable sofas and chairs and a large sunroom that stretches across the front of the home facing the ocean. The outside deck is also large and well appointed with good quality adirondack chairs. There are added touches to the home such as two pairs of binoculars, tons of beach towels, books, tourist guides, magazines, jigsaw puzzles, games and a plethora of "Anne of Green Gables" material including a full set of the books. The bedrooms have amble closet space and the mattresses and linens are top quality. Although the home is furnished in a nice mix of antiques and modern furniture, you never get the feeling that the items are "hands off" and we felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door. The home is centrally located and easy to find. The drive to either Charlottetown or Summerside was easy and all the other attractions that PEI has to offer. As we are from Northern Ontario, driving any distance for dinner, groceries etc... is the norm, so we planned for supply pick-up in conjunction with our outings and did not find the private cove in any way isolated. Secluded and private yes, but not isolated with Charlottetown and Summerside less than one hour away. All our inquiries were handled in a very timely manner by Alan and Sue Manning and questions while we were at the house usually answered within the hour. The welcome package that was mailed prior to the visit was also very helpful in planning our trip to PEI and the gift of PEI jams and tea upon our arrival was a very nice touch. Do not hesitate to rent this historic home if you have a group from 6-10 as the ocean view, spaciousness, surroundings and appointments of this house cannot be overstated. Five star all the way"
