  • Can't get this place off my mind!!!!

"Took my wife, two son's and their girlfriends to Sand Castle Pointe for New Year's week. The house was amazing. Great ocean views, outdoor showers in all bedrooms, house was immaculate, high-end towels etc., and we had our own Rita! Rita was the hostess and took care of our every need and with a cheerful can do attitude. She was a pleasure for sure. This is a great house! Couldn't ask for anything more in a true vacation home. Can't wait to go back!"

"We were so very pleased with LaVanda Cottage. It was unbelievably charming and more importantly, extremely well maintained and clean! Everything was in excellent condition. It is much larger than depicted and the wrap around porch was perfect. I was going to describe in detail what to expect, but the previous writer from New England said it perfectly! No need to reiterate. I will mention that this cottage is nestled in back of and to the side of Villa Bellamare and in front of Villa Mimosa. Because of the beautifully lush landscaped grounds, you have total privacy. The other two properties look beautiful as well. Each and every staff member, from Trenton, Charlene and lovely Yvette, were delightful. Of note, there is no sign to help you locate the cottage, but it is next door to Serenity cottages. We had stayed in the Roads Bay area for five days and then we moved to La Vanda. Our only mistake was not staying at La Vanda the entire time. This is the only island we have returned to more than once and we are already talking about returning as the people are so warm and inviting. This is not something you encounter in some of the other Caribbean Islands. Thank you Mary Ann for a memorable stay!"

"The reviews already submitted describe what a wonderful villa this is. We would like to add our voice to the chorus. Some particulars: the living space is well appointed, perfectly laid out and spacious. The bedding and mattress are of excellent quality and from the bed an incredible view of the Caribbean lies before you. The outdoor porch has a panoramic view and comfortable chairs and a table. The villa sits on a hill and is the recipient of a nearly constant delightful breeze. Although AC is provided, we did not use it once, as the circulation inside was perfect. Moreover the Penthouse is very private with a separate gated entrance. We did not hear any noise from the unit downstairs. The grounds are well taken care of and beautiful, thanks to the agronomist, Junior, who designed and laid out the plantings. In short, our stay here was perfection and dealing with Mary Ann, the owner, was seamless. She is a delight."

"Absolutely perfect! This place was better than we had imagined. The pictures do not do it justice. We had never been to Anguilla before and peritwinkle was the perfect base to enjoy and learn the island. It is very easy to get to. Every morning we sat on the rooftop deck and watched the sunrise - magnificent. The pool is right outside the front door along with a nice little reading room. Peritwinkle is very nicely equipped. There was everything we needed in the kitchen. Only the bedrooms are air conditioned but it wasn't a problem as the breezes coming through kept it quite comfortable. The bedrooms are large and the showers are awesome! ( there is even an outdoor shower) Sandra was there to clean up and wash and dry the linens. She was so nice. We would watch tv at night or just read. Peritwinkle is about a 5 minute walk to one of the prettiest beaches I've seen We were able to go scuba diving ,something I thoroughly enjoyed. We plan to return soon. Great place!!!"
