  • Peaceful & Exceptional Vacation Experience

"This was my family's first trip to Anguilla. I was excited but a bit nervous about selecting a property so far away and the process of wiring payment to this little island of Anguilla. Chelle and I talked several times by phone and she helped us with details around the rental car and ferry arrangements. Upon arrival at the property, 2 housekeepers greeted us and gave us a tour of the home. It is stunningly clean with high ceilings and is well appointed! We used the 3 bedrooms in the main house only. The home is spacious with large shutter doors to the patio and pool area. These doors are in each room which faces the water. We kept the doors open from sunrise until it was time to lock up for the night. The covered outdoor area, the pool, and the beach are where we spent almost our entire time while on the property. My 3 daughters and wife took turns on the bamboo swinging bed. So quiet and peaceful... just what they needed and it was always in use with them. There was a slight breeze on this side of the island the entire week which kept any bugs at a minimum. The hot tub took awhile to warm up when we used it each night. It was a great place to relax and talk after the sun had set. And, the views of St Maartin are spectacular at night. There are small shells and fish in the water right off the beach. The small beach in front of the property can only be accessed by 2 or 3 houses. We were there in "high" season and never saw another person ... it was our private paradise. Wade out to the rocky island to look for larger shells that have washed up but wear water shoes as there are some sea urchins. The housekeepers were there each day except Sunday. They were non intrusive and very helpful. They did dishes, made beds, kept everything clean and even washed and hung up some clothes. There were so many nice touches which I've never had at another property. In addition to the services of the housekeepers for the week, there was a cell phone for our use on the island and a Vonage phone for calls back to the US. The local island population is very friendly. We were greeted with hugs at the church we attended. People were genuinely friendly throughout the island. We've stayed in properties in Sanibel, Naples, Captiva, St John VI, and Playa del Carmen. This was my family's favorite home and vacation. Thank you Chelle for renting such a lovely home!"

  • The Best Vacation We've Had

"This was our first villa rental experience and our first time to Anguilla. It will not be our last. I was nervous to rent a vacation home based on internet pictures and reviews but Seabird exceeded our expectations. The villa was spacious and immaculate. Seabird had everything we needed to relax and enjoy. We opted to have some items pre-stocked for us which made settling in easier. The property was picturesque and secluded. The pool was perfect and provided hours of entertainment for our two children (8 & 10.) The salt pond had ZERO odor and was serene. The lovely Delphine and the rest of the staff took amazing care of us went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying every moment of this lovely home and island. Rendezvous Bay is a short walk from Seabird and was our favorite beach (although they are all gorgeous.) Some of our favorite lunch spots were Sunshine Shack (Rendezvous), Hank's (Shoal Bay) & Smokey's at The Cove. Some of our favorite dinners were Veya, Trattoria Tramonto and of course, Dune Preserve. We also enjoyed the delicious ice cream at Tropical Treats Fun House. Anguilla was easy to get around and is gorgeous and relaxing. The people were friendly and welcoming. We've been to many islands and Anguilla is our new favorite. I would highly recommend Anguilla and of course, Seabird Villa. We can't wait to return."

  • Nice, Quiet, and Clean!

"My husband and I really enjoyed our mini vacation here! While other wedding guests stayed in resorts on the other side of the island (approx 30 min drive from Cap Jaluca), we opted to stay in a more local setting- and we're glad we did! The apartment was very nice, Desmond and Tessa were very welcoming, and we were very close (short drive) to several gorgeous beaches, including Shoal Bay. We'd recommend this to anyone looking for an alternative to the resort accommodations."

  • First time in Anguilla

"My wife and I spent a week at K's Kove in early November 2014. It was our first trip to the island. We arrived after dark and were cordially greeted by Edward and Gratel. They are as nice a couple as you could ever hope to meet. Just absolutely sweet people. They are fantastically accommodating, and I never felt as though I was encroaching, nor they with me (and honestly, when you are staying on someone's property, that's something that tends to cross my mind). They're available when you need them, and extremely thoughtful. They left us some beach chairs to use for the week. Good ones, too, much better than anything you'd rent on the beaches. Raul, their son, who handles the logistics, is equally professional, prompt, and accommodating. Your pre- trip email correspondence will go through him. We rented the medium suite. Tons of space for two people. It has a full kitchen, and good sized living room, and balcony overlooking Island Harbour, and a large bedroom. The bed is very comfortable. It's really easy to make the space your home. The listed pictures are a good representation except the ceilings are extremely high, so everything feels even bigger. Island Harbour has several great restaurants. On De Rocks is a two minute walk. Hibernia is almost as close, in the other direction. We loved both, On De Rocks is more casual, Hibernia is fancier. There are several other dinner options within a close proximity. Le Bon Pain is nearby, and offers good breakfast options. Obviously, we came to Anguilla for the beaches, and K's Kove is roughly 7 minutes from Shoal Bay East. One of Planet Earth's very finest convergences of sand and sea. The beach is incredibly soft, the turquoise water warm and inviting, and it has a number of beach bars and restaurants. It's the total package. You'll need to rent a car, which you'd want to do regardless of where you stay on the Island. We also loved Rendezvous Bay on the opposite side of the island. There are 30-some beaches here, so you'll likely run out of time before you run out of stretches of sand to explore. But if you never get further than Shoal, I would understand. We loved our time here and were genuinely sad to leave. It's probably one of the best lodging deals we've ever come across. A week's stay cost less than a single night on many other Anguillan vacation rentals. Also, inquire about Lime Kove, right on the water, in front. Gratel gave us a tour. It's stunning."
