  • The Best Vacation We've Had

"This was our first villa rental experience and our first time to Anguilla. It will not be our last. I was nervous to rent a vacation home based on internet pictures and reviews but Seabird exceeded our expectations. The villa was spacious and immaculate. Seabird had everything we needed to relax and enjoy. We opted to have some items pre-stocked for us which made settling in easier. The property was picturesque and secluded. The pool was perfect and provided hours of entertainment for our two children (8 & 10.) The salt pond had ZERO odor and was serene. The lovely Delphine and the rest of the staff took amazing care of us went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying every moment of this lovely home and island. Rendezvous Bay is a short walk from Seabird and was our favorite beach (although they are all gorgeous.) Some of our favorite lunch spots were Sunshine Shack (Rendezvous), Hank's (Shoal Bay) & Smokey's at The Cove. Some of our favorite dinners were Veya, Trattoria Tramonto and of course, Dune Preserve. We also enjoyed the delicious ice cream at Tropical Treats Fun House. Anguilla was easy to get around and is gorgeous and relaxing. The people were friendly and welcoming. We've been to many islands and Anguilla is our new favorite. I would highly recommend Anguilla and of course, Seabird Villa. We can't wait to return."

  • Enchanting & Inviting

"We were so very pleased with LaVanda Cottage. It was unbelievably charming and more importantly, extremely well maintained and clean! Everything was in excellent condition. It is much larger than depicted and the wrap around porch was perfect. I was going to describe in detail what to expect, but the previous writer from New England said it perfectly! No need to reiterate. I will mention that this cottage is nestled in back of and to the side of Villa Bellamare and in front of Villa Mimosa. Because of the beautifully lush landscaped grounds, you have total privacy. The other two properties look beautiful as well. Each and every staff member, from Trenton, Charlene and lovely Yvette, were delightful. Of note, there is no sign to help you locate the cottage, but it is next door to Serenity cottages. We had stayed in the Roads Bay area for five days and then we moved to La Vanda. Our only mistake was not staying at La Vanda the entire time. This is the only island we have returned to more than once and we are already talking about returning as the people are so warm and inviting. This is not something you encounter in some of the other Caribbean Islands. Thank you Mary Ann for a memorable stay!"

  • No words can describe the beauty and peace

"Well we are back at work and home, and I just wanted to send a heartfelt thank you. Carol, thank you so much for sharing your home with us. It felt as if it was our home while we were there. The home is peaceful and comfortable, and it was so beautiful. It was a piece of paradise that we will never forget. You have a truly special place. Catherine - thank you for your attention to every detail while we were there. It was service that was far beyond what we expected staying at a villa. We felt as if we had a guardian with us the whole time we were there. It was never too much, as you allowed us our own time, but it was always thoughtful when you checked in with us. Cecile is an incredible and loving human being. We feel so lucky to have met her, and she really made our stay feel like we were part of a family there. She is such an amazing person, and we can't thank you enough for having her take care of us while we were there. I am sure you have heard it a million times before, but it was one of the hardest things to do leaving the island. We felt as if we had found home, and the people were incredible. Thank you both, and hopefully we will visit paradise again. Thank you, Cristina & Shaune"

  • A Gracious Slice of Heaven

"We rented Bayberry and Chinaberry for a "girls only" week to celebrate my Mom's 88th birthday...there is only one word to describe the charm, the detail to comfort, the perfect Caribbean meets Zen vibe of this property: REMARKABLE. The immaculate homes have every amenity as well as features I appreciate in a rental -such as quiet ceiling fans, mosquito nets, beyond fully equipt kitchen, multiple options for lounging and catching the sun or shade, thick bath towels, high quality bedding and bath supplies,WIFI/phone, great water pressure, truly inviting stylish and comfortable furniture, beach chairs, even a fully stocked refridgerator (option) & a bottle of local rum to welcome us! Perfect for families or couples, the landscaped courtyard and the decks double the living space and become magically lit at night. No need to go out to expensive restaurants at night...watching the sunset and enjoying the breeze....walled and raised to look over the bay, the property is supremely quiet.(except or the evening tree frogs) and feels very private and safe. Gayle arranged a car rental for us and provided tons of good island info such as the bakery (Gerauds) for the birthday cake. Lynn is a gem. Anguilla has miles of uncrowded soft white sand and the seas are every shade blue and aqua. The beach bars are fun for lunch. Seeing Bankie Banx in concert at the Dune Preserve, a treat. Take a catamaran to Prickly Pear. Eat at Tastys. While this property is not directly on a beach, we didn't mind a bit..the bay view is expansive and we explored different beaches by car, none more than 20-30 minutes away. Rendevous Bay, our favorite beach is very close by, although walking to it along the shore from the house is challenging due to erosion. Do not hesitate to book either Bayberry or Chinaberry or both..the property and Gayle's and Lynn's warmth added immeasurably to our Anguilla experience. From Day 1, it felt like home."
