"The reviews already submitted describe what a wonderful villa this is. We would like to add our voice to the chorus. Some particulars: the living space is well appointed, perfectly laid out and spacious. The bedding and mattress are of excellent quality and from the bed an incredible view of the Caribbean lies before you. The outdoor porch has a panoramic view and comfortable chairs and a table. The villa sits on a hill and is the recipient of a nearly constant delightful breeze. Although AC is provided, we did not use it once, as the circulation inside was perfect. Moreover the Penthouse is very private with a separate gated entrance. We did not hear any noise from the unit downstairs. The grounds are well taken care of and beautiful, thanks to the agronomist, Junior, who designed and laid out the plantings. In short, our stay here was perfection and dealing with Mary Ann, the owner, was seamless. She is a delight."

  • Great Anguilla Experince

"Just returned from Anguilla and the Clubhouse. I have been going to Anguilla since the 1980’s when I lived and worked in nearby St Maarten and can say the Clubhouse is a great value and lovely accommodation, particularly for Anguilla, as many comparable properties are priced well out of range. Others have already outlined many of the benefits of the property…I will simply say that these are accurate descriptions of the accommodation and experience, and I would recommend this property to everyone looking for great vacation experience on Anguilla. However, I would like to make a few comments about the negative review above. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but I don’t think this should go unchallenged. I’ll cover the points below: NO gas…I’ve been to this property more than once…always plenty of gas Smell of gas was overwhelming…that has never been the case The owner does not provide a fully stocked kitchen…untrue No kettle…untrue There's no toaster…untrue No coffee-maker…untrue We were forced to continually find places to eat that served hot beverages and food…Funny, must have been a very difficult search. Anguilla is overflowing with fine places to eat. Large aggressive maintenance man - renters should be put in such an uncomfortable threatening situation…that would be Trenton, and this comment is utter foolishness. Trenton could never be characterized in this way, and is 100% courteous and helpful 100% of the time. This comment feels somewhat racist to me. Further, the DVD didn't work properly….untrue And even though there are 2 bathrooms, both showers are pointless as only a trickle of water comes out…moderate stream, I’d say this comment is untrue With only intermittent moments of warm water…untrue Also the safe did not work…untrue The walk to the beach takes around 3 minutes through a scruffy gravel and rock area strewn with leaves and debris, and then you need to be fit enough to jump down on to the sand…access to the beach is down the left side of the big villa (Bellamare) and through a gate, down a set of stairs leading directly to the beach. Virtually every part of this comment is untrue. This property is in a bad location, not worth the price…untrue, Shoal Bay Village is one of the nicer island destinations and the accommodations provide more, not less, for the money. Go to Anguilla, stay in the Clubhouse and enjoy your visit. Anguilla is one of the best destinations in the Caribbean and the perfect place to relax."

  • "Perfect"

"After 25 years of traveling the Caribbean and staying at resorts, my wife and I decided to try a Villa with just the two of us. We spent a few months trying to find what seemed like the perfect one for us. We almost gave up and then we found Villa Oceana and we are so glad we did. First of all, Rick responded to our questions right away and was very helpful. Secondly the love he and Michelle have for their Island home is evident in the quality. Everything from the furniture to the dishes are very nice. The appliances were all newer and in great shape. The painting, decorating and the attention to detail in every room were perfect for our taste. Oh yeah, did we mention the infinity pool? Or the spectacular views? Sitting on the bedroom balcony having morning coffee wasn't terrible at all. Neither was having a glass of wine and watching the sail boat races in the bay. Dinner on the back deck and an evening swim while the sun was setting was only enhanced by the Bose sound system and our Island playlist. Upon our arrival, Geenenlle was very helpful and Sheila was very flexible with us about her housekeeping schedule. Although we didn't meet Lisa, she was very helpful over the phone and everyone was very nice. Our favorite staff member was Dwayne the Dolphin. We appointed him the resident house manager. He is actually thermometer in the pool and made us smile every time we looked at him. It was hard to leave him behind. In all seriousness, It's not often that something not only meets your expectations but exceeds them. In the Islands it's easy to be good enough, but for us Villa Ocean was above and beyond. Thanks Rick and Michelle, we are looking forward to our next visit!"

  • Home Away From Home!

"I feel very fortunate to have found Webster Villa. For the last 2 years I have stayed here and I couldn't have asked for more. It's a good sized house, has everything we need(linens, towels, cooking supplies, BBQ, beach chairs, washing machine/dryer, wifi), and it's in the quaint fishing village of Island Harbour. Down the road is Le Bon Pain bakery and definitely have a rum with Everett while you watch the fishing boats!"
