"We loved our stay in your wonderful condo. The porch was great to sit and listen to the waves and drink coffee. At the entrance to Sapphire is a new food truck/smoker (Off The Grid) that serves the most delicious pulled pork and chicken. The on site Banana Cabana is great for a quick bite or frozen drink. The painkiller drink is great. The beach is sandy and great for shell looking. Snorkeling was great. Thank you Denise for sharing your condo and thank Paul for taking us to Latitude 18 to listen to the Fiddler. Go to top of hill to catch the safari bus to see the island."Guest: theresa s. "The views are incredible! We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking Coral Bay. It is a darling, charming cottage for two. We ate a lot of our meals in the well equipped kitchen and just enjoyed all that the cottage had to offer. We loved the food at Lucy's, Tourist Trap and our favorite beach was Salt Pond. Crabby's right down at the end of the road rented snorkeling equipment at a reasonable cost and Coral Bay was beautiful! Annie and Kaaren took very good care of us. We would return without hesitation. We loved it!"Guest: Sharon A. Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: April 7, 2014View listing
"my wife and i needed a reasonably-priced place to stay for a few nights while on the island for my brother's wedding and we could not have asked for a better place- it was super close to where we wanted to be, yet quiet and very comfortable. ken and charmagne met us when we arrived and couldn't have been more friendly. they showed us around and gave us the keys, then left us to relax and get refreshed after our long plane flight. plenty of space, with lots of towels, a fully-loaded kitchen and a comfortable bed, we highly recommend you make arrangements to stay here for your next trip to the island!"Guest: Mike Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 8, 2014View listing
"Had an awesome 2 weeks in the lower 2 bedroom unit. Our rental contact, Elise, did a fantastic job keeping us happy and aware of what was available to us, and was constantly making sure we had clean towels and linens, and when we were away, she came in and cleaned from wall to wall. There is probably not a better spot on the island for its location; close to convenience stores, bakery, restaurants and retail shops, and away from traffic and crowds."Guest: phlaraldo Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 9, 2014View listing
Anguilla Travel Tips
Activities and Attractions at Anguilla Vacation Rentals
Anguilla is a tropical paradise located in the Caribbean. It is an island known for its beautiful beaches and calm turquoise waters. It’s a place where you can relax, and be as active or lazy as you choose. Many people visit simply to be able to enjoy the beautiful white beach sands, warm tropical sun and delicious rum cocktails. But if you’d like to be a little more active than that, there are plenty of great activities. The calm turquoise waters are ideal for swimming and snorkeling. You can visit the reefs and watch the many colorful tropical reef fish dart between the corals. For certified divers, you can explore the underwater wonders by signing up with one of the dive charters.
The national sport of Anguilla is sailing and when the weather is good, you’ll see all types and sizes of sailing craft out on the water. The winds provide ideal sailing conditions and regattas are often held throughout the year. Sea kayaking is a great way to explore the coastline. Protected by the barrier reefs, most of the coastline is relatively calm. If you enjoy deep sea fishing, you can go out beyond the reefs for a day of fishing. The experienced skippers will be able to take you to where the fish are biting.
No visit to Anguilla is complete without taking a boat cruise. You can choose from a slow and steady glass-bottomed boat to a luxurious high-speed cruiser. There are also several yachts available for day charters and cruises on the island. On land, you can enjoy a round of golf or many leisurely hours of walking. You could even explore the interior on horseback. Then there are also the vibrant restaurants, beach bars, shops and markets to keep you entertained.

It’s a little slice of tropical paradise that is an ideal sun vacation destination. Because of its natural beauty, it is a popular destination for honeymoons and weddings. There’s nothing quite as romantic as strolling along a beautiful beach at sunset and feeling the gentle ocean breeze in your hair. Yachtsmen can enjoy sailing in the bays with the consistently good winds. Scuba divers can enjoy the underwater reefs and magnificent marine life. Anyone who enjoys beach, sun and water sports will enjoy a stay on Anguilla.
Getting to Anguilla Resort Rentals
Most flights to Anguilla from the United States route via Puerto Rico. From there, there are several flights weekly that connect on to Anguilla. An alternative that is often cheaper and more convenient is to fly directly to the neighboring island of St. Maarten. From there, you can get a quick island hop across to Anguilla. From St. Maartten, it is a quick 20-minute ferry trip to get across to Anguilla. If traveling from Europe, there are several airlines that have direct flights into St. Maarten.
