"I have never felt so relaxed and renewed from a vacation before. After 10 days in Anguilla at this beautiful house, I feel like a new me! Waking up to the sounds of birds tweeting and the soft roar of the ocean waves is absolutely ideal. The house was beautifully decorated and well-kept. The patio furniture was very comfortable for lounging on all day long. The pool was clean and lovely for an afternoon swim. I felt at home right away. It's a perfect romantic getaway or a great place to bring friends for a weekend of fun in the sun."Guest: Virginia Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: February 12, 2014View listing
"My husband and I really enjoyed our mini vacation here! While other wedding guests stayed in resorts on the other side of the island (approx 30 min drive from Cap Jaluca), we opted to stay in a more local setting- and we're glad we did! The apartment was very nice, Desmond and Tessa were very welcoming, and we were very close (short drive) to several gorgeous beaches, including Shoal Bay. We'd recommend this to anyone looking for an alternative to the resort accommodations."Guest: JulieDC Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 13, 2014View listing
"Our 10th trip to Anguilla and we have found our new home. The Penthouse is spacious and comfortable with panoramic views of the Atlantic. Overlooking Shoal Bay East, one of the most beautiful of the many stunning beaches on the island, the location is a bit out of the way but nothing is too far away on Anguilla. You need a car anyway (unless you stay stuck in a hotel) so here you are closer to the east end and a little further from the west. The kitchen has just enough equipment to cook basic meals; the wall of French doors letting in the breeze and the open floor plan give the whole place an airy feel. The deck is spectacular at all times of day. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is roomy. We hope to be back soon!"Guest: Robin M. "Well we are back at work and home, and I just wanted to send a heartfelt thank you. Carol, thank you so much for sharing your home with us. It felt as if it was our home while we were there. The home is peaceful and comfortable, and it was so beautiful. It was a piece of paradise that we will never forget. You have a truly special place. Catherine - thank you for your attention to every detail while we were there. It was service that was far beyond what we expected staying at a villa. We felt as if we had a guardian with us the whole time we were there. It was never too much, as you allowed us our own time, but it was always thoughtful when you checked in with us. Cecile is an incredible and loving human being. We feel so lucky to have met her, and she really made our stay feel like we were part of a family there. She is such an amazing person, and we can't thank you enough for having her take care of us while we were there. I am sure you have heard it a million times before, but it was one of the hardest things to do leaving the island. We felt as if we had found home, and the people were incredible. Thank you both, and hopefully we will visit paradise again. Thank you, Cristina & Shaune"Guest: Cristina A. Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: November 4, 2014View listing

Activities and Attractions at Anguilla Vacation Rentals
Anguilla is a tropical paradise located in the Caribbean. It is an island known for its beautiful beaches and calm turquoise waters. It’s a place where you can relax, and be as active or lazy as you choose. Many people visit simply to be able to enjoy the beautiful white beach sands, warm tropical sun and delicious rum cocktails. But if you’d like to be a little more active than that, there are plenty of great activities. The calm turquoise waters are ideal for swimming and snorkeling. You can visit the reefs and watch the many colorful tropical reef fish dart between the corals. For certified divers, you can explore the underwater wonders by signing up with one of the dive charters.
The national sport of Anguilla is sailing and when the weather is good, you’ll see all types and sizes of sailing craft out on the water. The winds provide ideal sailing conditions and regattas are often held throughout the year. Sea kayaking is a great way to explore the coastline. Protected by the barrier reefs, most of the coastline is relatively calm. If you enjoy deep sea fishing, you can go out beyond the reefs for a day of fishing. The experienced skippers will be able to take you to where the fish are biting.
No visit to Anguilla is complete without taking a boat cruise. You can choose from a slow and steady glass-bottomed boat to a luxurious high-speed cruiser. There are also several yachts available for day charters and cruises on the island. On land, you can enjoy a round of golf or many leisurely hours of walking. You could even explore the interior on horseback. Then there are also the vibrant restaurants, beach bars, shops and markets to keep you entertained.
