"Fletch's Cove is truly a special place. It is just as beautiful as the photos make it look. The part you cannot get from those photos is the feeling of the fresh breeze and sound of the ocean that is so welcome to those of us who are escaping the winter weather up north. Indeed, it was between 76 and 84 degrees during our stay, with occasional brief showers. The owners have done a fantastic job of establishing a property that is ideal for two people. The furnishings and extra touches show a sense of caring for the visitor that is a step higher than similar places we have stayed in the past. Our entire experience was really positive, starting with the initial contact with Carol, the owner. In fact, the attention, advice and support provided by the "Three C's" - Carol, Catherine and Cecile - were beyond our expectations. As for the island itself, two things stand out: The people are really friendly and the beaches are beautiful. This is not a super-wealthy island overall, but it does not feel at all unsafe either. The general feeling is relaxed, informal, laid-back. There are several high-end resorts, worth at least a brief visit or dinner. There are many good restaurants - we especially liked Blanchard's, Veya and DaVida plus the Pump House....as well as the music at the latter two. Overall, it would be pretty hard to do better than our week at Fletch's Cove. Dave and Pam"Guest: David H. Date of Stay: January 2015 Review Submitted: January 24, 2015View listing
"Our 10th trip to Anguilla and we have found our new home. The Penthouse is spacious and comfortable with panoramic views of the Atlantic. Overlooking Shoal Bay East, one of the most beautiful of the many stunning beaches on the island, the location is a bit out of the way but nothing is too far away on Anguilla. You need a car anyway (unless you stay stuck in a hotel) so here you are closer to the east end and a little further from the west. The kitchen has just enough equipment to cook basic meals; the wall of French doors letting in the breeze and the open floor plan give the whole place an airy feel. The deck is spectacular at all times of day. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is roomy. We hope to be back soon!"Guest: Robin M. "My husband and I snuck away for Thanksgiving week to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We did a lot of research regarding the right villa for us...we are so happy that we chose Seabird! It was truly amazing. Delphine met us at the airport, had a cab waiting, escorted us to the villa, where the rest of the Rainbow Isle team was, and showed us all around the villa. We were truly awed when we first walked in. The views are stunning. The villa itself is modern, well laid out and impeccably kept. The pool and pool area are gorgeous. It is a short 5 minute walk to the best beach ever (Rendezvous Bay (be sure to try the Sunshine Shack and order a lobster a day ahead)). We were concerned about the salt pond either being smelly or not pretty. Neither was the case. There was absolutely no smell from the villa and it was actually quite pretty to look at from all the amazing angles from the villa. The Rainbow Isle staff did a great job keeping us comfortable throughout the trip. We were also very impressed with the privacy Seabird offers. We were concerned that the villa next door may be too close. In fact, we never once heard a peep from there (even though a family was staying there who we saw on the shared road one day) and we felt like we were in our own universe. We plan to return to Anguilla and will definitely be staying at Seabird again, and we look forward to working with Delphine and her team again!"Guest: AnguillaLover Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: January 5, 2015View listing
"We stayed at Moonrise Villa for a week and were thrilled by our experience. The pictures on the website do not do justice to the villa itself or the spectacular view. As much as we enjoyed the stunning beaches of Anguilla, it was difficult to tear ourselves away from the villa, the sparkling pool and the beautiful view. We spent several afternoons enjoying the exquisite little private beach directly across the bay where we had the beach all to ourselves! We're not really cooks so we didn't use the kitchen too much although it seems very well appointed. The restaurants on the island are very good and we tried several and enjoyed them all. (There are no restaurants within walking distance to the villa so you would need a car if you choose to stay there.) We also loved our outdoor bathroom with its pretty garden- very romantic! The house was pleasantly cool, with beautiful wooden louvers that allow the ample breeze to flow through the whole property. Even in June we didn't need air conditioning although it's available in all the bedrooms. There are two housekeepers who came in every day and were very sweet and helpful as was the rest of the staff. We felt very well taken care of, from the beautiful bed linens and towels ( the large bath-sheet size which we really loved) to the local cell phone that was there for our use while we were there. We can't wait to return to Moonrise next year."Guest: Abby Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: August 13, 2014View listing

Anguilla is a tropical paradise located in the Caribbean. It is an island known for its beautiful beaches and calm turquoise waters. It’s a place where you can relax, and be as active or lazy as you choose. Many people visit simply to be able to enjoy the beautiful white beach sands, warm tropical sun and delicious rum cocktails. But if you’d like to be a little more active than that, there are plenty of great activities. The calm turquoise waters are ideal for swimming and snorkeling. You can visit the reefs and watch the many colorful tropical reef fish dart between the corals. For certified divers, you can explore the underwater wonders by signing up with one of the dive charters.
The national sport of Anguilla is sailing and when the weather is good, you’ll see all types and sizes of sailing craft out on the water. The winds provide ideal sailing conditions and regattas are often held throughout the year. Sea kayaking is a great way to explore the coastline. Protected by the barrier reefs, most of the coastline is relatively calm. If you enjoy deep sea fishing, you can go out beyond the reefs for a day of fishing. The experienced skippers will be able to take you to where the fish are biting.
No visit to Anguilla is complete without taking a boat cruise. You can choose from a slow and steady glass-bottomed boat to a luxurious high-speed cruiser. There are also several yachts available for day charters and cruises on the island. On land, you can enjoy a round of golf or many leisurely hours of walking. You could even explore the interior on horseback. Then there are also the vibrant restaurants, beach bars, shops and markets to keep you entertained.
