  • Great Getaway on Seven Mile Beach

"My husband and I loved the villa. The price was reasonable, as well as the location. We had easy access to the Ritz and Westin right next door (one on either side), but a beach that was much less busy and just as gorgeous! We loved the snorkeling right off of the beach, the long walks along the white sand beach, and fabulous restaurants in abundance. With our vigilant and very endearing security guard, Rommel, always on watch, we never minded leaving our bags at our chairs when we went next door for lunch or for walks. The condo is well stocked for all your kitchen utensil and bathroom needs. The mattress was a little hard, and the pillows a little deflated, but overall a lovely stay."

  • Paradise

"My now fiance & I stayed here for a week over the new year. We got engaged right in the backyard on the beach where we were the only people we saw all day! Amazing place. Very special. Wake up, make breakfast, make a drink and enjoy the sun. Golf carted into town and local restaurants for dinner at a different place. Retire to waiting the moon and star on the back porch listening to the waves. Repeat everyday. Perfect. Highly recommend getting your groceries on Treasure Cay before you come to the island and prices are double but they have just about everything in case you forget something. We are already looking at our schedules for when to return. Mike, the owner, was extremely helpful w everything and Patricia, the caregiver, was very nice and available if needed but luckily we didn't really need anything! Be back ASAP!"

Anguilla Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Anguilla Vacation Rentals

Anguilla is a tropical paradise located in the Caribbean. It is an island known for its beautiful beaches and calm turquoise waters. It’s a place where you can relax, and be as active or lazy as you choose. Many people visit simply to be able to enjoy the beautiful white beach sands, warm tropical sun and delicious rum cocktails. But if you’d like to be a little more active than that, there are plenty of great activities. The calm turquoise waters are ideal for swimming and snorkeling. You can visit the reefs and watch the many colorful tropical reef fish dart between the corals. For certified divers, you can explore the underwater wonders by signing up with one of the dive charters.

The national sport of Anguilla is sailing and when the weather is good, you’ll see all types and sizes of sailing craft out on the water. The winds provide ideal sailing conditions and regattas are often held throughout the year. Sea kayaking is a great way to explore the coastline. Protected by the barrier reefs, most of the coastline is relatively calm. If you enjoy deep sea fishing, you can go out beyond the reefs for a day of fishing. The experienced skippers will be able to take you to where the fish are biting.

No visit to Anguilla is complete without taking a boat cruise. You can choose from a slow and steady glass-bottomed boat to a luxurious high-speed cruiser. There are also several yachts available for day charters and cruises on the island. On land, you can enjoy a round of golf or many leisurely hours of walking. You could even explore the interior on horseback. Then there are also the vibrant restaurants, beach bars, shops and markets to keep you entertained.

Visitors to Anguilla Villas

Anguilla attracts visitors who love the sunshine and warm tropical weather. Many people visit the island from December to April to escape from the colder northern climates. It’s a little slice of tropical paradise that is an ideal sun vacation destination. Because of its natural beauty, it is a popular destination for honeymoons and weddings. There’s nothing quite as romantic as strolling along a beautiful beach at sunset and feeling the gentle ocean breeze in your hair. Yachtsmen can enjoy sailing in the bays with the consistently good winds. Scuba divers can enjoy the underwater reefs and magnificent marine life. Anyone who enjoys beach, sun and water sports will enjoy a stay on Anguilla.

Getting to Anguilla Resort Rentals

Most flights to Anguilla from the United States route via Puerto Rico. From there, there are several flights weekly that connect on to Anguilla. An alternative that is often cheaper and more convenient is to fly directly to the neighboring island of St. Maarten. From there, you can get a quick island hop across to Anguilla. From St. Maartten, it is a quick 20-minute ferry trip to get across to Anguilla. If traveling from Europe, there are several airlines that have direct flights into St. Maarten. You can, of course, also route via Puerto Rico if you choose.

Best Seasons to Travel to Caribbean Vacation Rentals in Anguilla

Anguilla enjoys a warm year-round tropical climate. While the sun may shine all year, the seasons are dictated mostly by the rainfall rather than by how hot it is. The most popular time of year to visit is during the cooler months which are from December to April. You’ll want to be cautious about traveling in May as there are frequently storms that blow through. The summer months of June to September are very hot and humid, and heavy rains generally occur in October.
