"My husband and I spent a week here celebrating my 60th B-day. Pure Heaven!!! The house is so welcoming and relaxing. It's hard to leave. Spectacular view, gorgeous decor, all this and a wonderful host. Loved the outdoor shower and the privacy the house and Christian offer. Makes you feel like you are in your own home. You must visit Rosie at the bottom of the hill, incredible Italian cuisine. We shall return."

"This was our first trip to Antigua but it definitely won't be our last. As a matter of fact we have already book a stay for next year. Our stay at Sunset Villa was perfect. It began with Trevor meeting us at the airport. As other guests have noted we can not say enough about Trevor. He was so pleasant and helpful. It's like having your own private concierge. The villa was perfect, lots of room, brand new kitchen, fabulous balconies. The views are breathtaking. Each night we watched the sunset while having dinne r on the lower balcony. The beach is just a short walk away and as for the hill not bad at all. We didn't do a lot of exploring while we were there because we were so content to just stay local. We did have lunch at Anas on the beach and it was 5 star all the way. Plan to see more of the island on our return visit. My brother and his wife flew in for a few days and fell in love with the villa and the location. They are planning on coming back again. This is the perfect vacation spot for all those who want the beauty of the island without all the congestion of resort hotels."

"This was our third time staying with Joanne in Falmouth, but our first visit during the "low season" in June. How different could summer be from winter or spring in paradise? What are the chances of a hurricane hitting Antigua and even if one did, wouldn't that just be an even better story to tell? In fact, Antigua in June is more relaxing. There are fewer cars on the road, fewer people on the beaches and fewer choices to make because there are fewer businesses open. We were impelled by sargassum seaweed and by Joanne's advice to try other beaches beyond the old favorites, and we discovered a new favorite, Galley Bay. It's amazing, with the best snorkeling, so if you want to get there, just get on All Saint's Road and keep going straight until you see signs for 5 Island Community (or Village) and take the old Galley Bay road. You'll find it eventually. But if you really want to spend a day in paradise, fly to Barbuda in the morning and get a taxi to Palmetto Point. (Fly Montserrat or ABM airlines) Then walk north to the resort (Lighthouse Resort) stopping to swim and snorkel. It will take 4-5 hours. Bring a backpack for your gear. Buy lots of water in the shopette a couple of blocks from the rustic airport. From the resort, it's a water taxi ride back to Codrington and the airport. (Bring cash.) Trust me, you will never see beaches like these again! And always trust Joanne; she's just the best. After our third visit in four years, we hope she thinks of us as friends the next time she needs a house sitter. Until next year!"
