"We loved the villa, we loved the resort and we loved the island! The villa was roomy and clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect! It was close to everything that mattered to us. The kids pools were awesome and we used them every day. The beach was close and wonderful for little kids. The only downside was the seaweed, which was washing up ashore every day, but I hear that has been the problem of most of the Caribbean lately. My husband and son made a good use of complimentary hobby cat rentals. We had a rental car, so we were able to explore the island a bit and really enjoyed going out to eat to various restaurants. English Harbour/Nelson's Dockyards is amazing! We would love to come back the next year and stay at the villa again."

"This really is the most amazing villa. We spent 10 days there with children aged 14 & 12. We all LOVED it. Absolutely incredible views, beautifully furnished. Has to be one of the best villas in the area. Stunning master bedroom, so much space throughout, even the wardrobes are enormous! The pool was fantastic with really lovely sparkling clean water and kept regularly cleaned. Everything you need is provided. The reciprocal agreement with the Veranda Hotel was an incredible bonus for us and meant the children were able to windsurf, sail and kayak everyday. The villa even has a proper basketball hoop which my 12 year old absolutely loved. Highly recommended."

"The pictures are tremendous, but don’t give the place justice, as they can’t capture the sounds of the waves crashing against the rocks below, or the healthy wind that blows refreshingly and constantly. A great way to capture the magnitude of the view; we could see the villa clearly while swimming with stingrays at a sandbar the might easily be 10-15 kms away.
The beach is truly only a 2 minute walk down a very well maintained path. Long Bay is very nice and while a little busy when the cruise ships are in, is virtually all yours in the morning and by 5:00 p.m. Snorkeling off the beach won’t blow the experienced away, but was still solid fun for the family. Had drinks on Marina’s restaurant deck most days and she and her staff were very nice. Marina was also very responsive and available for arriving/departing and any other questions we might have had through the week.
The villa itself was very well stocked. We did a lot of cooking and found any tool necessary. The BBQ was solid as well, with a nice Kenmore 4-burner that reached nice high heats allowing for some quality grilling. Lots of deck furniture, including two large tables. Beds were comfortable in the main house. We didn’t rent the cottage, but had a look inside and it’s a nice option for larger groups with kids.
As others have stated, the gardens are expansive and very nice. Dwight the gardener is a great guy.
You really should rent a car. Loved Antigua, the people are awesome. You should see the island and the guest book is filled with great recommendations. Every one we followed was on the money. Half Moon and Smiling Harry’s was a classic example of a little risk with tremendous reward.
Lisa was a joy to deal with throughout the entire process. We had an absolutely fantastic vacation."

"We stayed at Perfect Sunshine for a week in February and could not recommend it more highly. The villa itself is perfect holiday accommodation, with good sized bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, a big kitchen, and a vast living room which opens onto two even bigger terraces, one catching the morning sun and the other perfect for the evenings. The views both over the bay and inland are spectacular. It was hard to tear ourselves away from the attractions of Nonsuch Bay - a good restaurant, a fine beach, sailing and kitesurfing lessons - but when we did venture out we found Antigua to be a warm and welcoming combination of friendly locals and great beaches. We had a particularly enjoyable dinner at Sheer Rocks, on the eastern side of the island. Another highlight was our visit to Stingray City, where the five-year old in our party was undoubtedly the bravest stingray handler among us! All in all a fantastic place for families or groups of friends. We will definitely be returning soon."
