  • Perfect in every way!

"We just returned from our stay for a week at Perfect Sunshine Villa with our family of four and another family of four. The house is spectacularly sited on the top of a ridge with endless views both east and west. It is on the grounds of the Nonsuch Bay Resort, which entitled us to the use of the resort's 3 pools in addition to the private pool at the house, which was huge. The house is characterized by tons of usable space both inside and out. It has a fully equipped kitchen where we made most of our meals, but the resort's restaurant is amazing, as is Harmony Hall five minutes away. If you like sun, there is ample sunning space. If you like to read in the shade, or do yoga on the decks, you can have that too. You could have an amazing time and never leave the grounds of the house. We did a bit of exploring of the island and all of us kiteboarded, with the very professional 40 Knots kite school located at the resort. The kiteboarding spot at Green Island is one of the best I've been to, and I've been to many all over the world. The resort also has a famous sailing school for instruction or just to rent boats. The wind was perfect the entire time we were there, which made the use of air-conditioning unnecessary. The caretaker of the house took great care of us, even providing us with fresh fish on two nights. Did I mention the views? Breathtaking is an overused word, but is very appropriate for this villa. We will return!!!"

  • PRIVATE OASIS

"Just returned from a most wonderful week at the Gordon House. Thanks Gregory Gordon for sharing this wonderful property, thanks Amanda for making the booking process seamless, and to Marilyn, for showing us the real beauty of the Antiguian people. There are many reasons to love the Gordon House. The privacy, the views, the house itself is spacious and charming. I, along with my 2 sisters and mother, felt completey safe all week. The kitties, Carribean and Wadadli, are a wonderful addition as well. They made us laugh every day, and also provided a practical side. The house is virtually bug free thanks to those cats. We cooked for ourselves, and Marilyn came every other day to tidy things up (laundry etc). We shopped at Island Provisions which is on the road from the airport, so we stocked up with food etc before heading to the house. We paid $600US to rent a vehicle for the week, but don't expect a new vehicle. The brakes were loud, but it served us well all week. We were able to swim directly off our property at all times of the day and felt completly safe as it is in a bay not exposed to open ocean. Long bay beach is a 5-6 walk down the road and even my 75 year old mother had no problem navigating the one hill. This beach is great for all ages, gorgeous white sand and gentle waters as well. We took one afternoon to explore St John's, but really couldn't wait to get back to Gordon House. Highly recommend the Gordon House for anyone looking for peace, privacy and getting to know the real Antigua."

  • Marvelous house

"As mentioned by other reviewers, you will be astonished at the size of this house. It would be difficult to locate on your own but luckily Lillian will guide you to the house. The patio is huge and divided into 3 separate areas. We thoroughly enjoyed have coffee on the patio each morning as we watched the cruise ships sail into port. The rooms are all very large. Bedrooms have fans as well as AC although we never used the AC and rarely turned on the fans. There was always a breeze. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, coffeemaker, etc. There are even beach chairs, snorkel gear, towels, cooler and boogie boards. There is a phone available for local calls which was very nice since we arranged a few tours. You can walk to a few restaurants and some beach areas but I would suggest renting a car. The only thing that was missing for us was internet access BUT we were trying to relax!!! The property was clean and the photos are very accurate. I would recommend this house to anyone. We took day tours to Barbuda & Montserrat. Don't miss the Stingray Cay tour. It is pricey but where else can you swim with stingrays!! We tried various restaurants and found them pricey with so so food. The grocery is nearby and we managed to make our own food on several occasions. Cococut Grove was very nice with a beach setting and reasonably price with good lunch menu. Blu Pineapple nearby was ok. Bay house was ok. Our deposit was promptly returned. Can't go wrong with this house."

  • Great Time

"Both units are great...simple, very efficient and clean with a nice quiet beach only steps away! The on-site staff is very friendly and the price for this little gem is really nice. An ideal place to bring friends/family and rent both units. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Brian"
