  • Spectacular

"We have just returned from our second year spending a Month and a Half at Point of View. This is one of the nicest locations on the Island as the views in all directions are simply spectacular. The view over the pool from the Master Bedroom lanai down the undeveloped west coast is unparalleled. The Master bedroom and ensuite bath is perfect. The steady parade of beautiful boats going in and out of the harbor is wonderful. The pool is certainly one of the nicest, largest and deepest we have seen in the Caribbean. We had a number of friends come to join us over the time we were at the house and there was ample room and privacy in the Studio. Katherine was very helpful as always and we love the fact that it is a solar house. This house and property are a true jewel."

  • Gorgeous Location, Perfect Hosts

"My husband and I and another couple stayed at Sugar Shack for a week starting on January 31, 2015. We rented a car, which I recommend if you want to see a lot of the island, but as others have commented, be prepared to drive on the "wrong" side of the road and expect some bumpy rides. If you just want to chill out and enjoy the beauty of the setting, you really don't need one. Dickenson Bay is a easy walk away and some of the excursions make a stop at the Sandal's there for pickup and return. We took the circumnavigation catamaran snorkeling tour, which I highly recommend. All the beaches - and there are a ton of them - are public. We have visited several of the Caribbean islands and Antigua stands out as one of the most beautiful. There is a lovely restaurant called Ana's in Dickenson Bay with fabulous views. You can rent an umbrella and two chairs for $20 for the entire day in front of Ana's - quite a bargain. This is a marvelous little strip of beach right next to Sandal's with lots of shade. The parking lot was free and never full. Due to the fact that the wife of the other couple was in a wheelchair, we ate most meals on the deck of the cottage, making extensive use of the great BBQ and also the Jacuzzi. When we had a medical issue one day, Ilse was extremely helpful, making phone calls and offering advice. She is an awesome hostess. We only met Bill at Sundowners's but he was great as well - so friendly and welcoming. The cottage is just as described with good WiFi and TV reception, and we even had maid service twice a week. We enjoyed watching all the birds from the deck and saw several hummingbirds. The grounds are impeccably kept by Gerald, who was wonderful, and most helpful. The phone in the unit and the cell phone were nice little extras, especially as my phone service - Greatcall - did not work in Antigua. If you want to spend a few carefree days in Paradise, I highly recommend this cottage. You will not be disappointed."

  • Perfect villa for sunshine and views

"We stayed at Perfect Sunshine for a week in February and could not recommend it more highly. The villa itself is perfect holiday accommodation, with good sized bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, a big kitchen, and a vast living room which opens onto two even bigger terraces, one catching the morning sun and the other perfect for the evenings. The views both over the bay and inland are spectacular. It was hard to tear ourselves away from the attractions of Nonsuch Bay - a good restaurant, a fine beach, sailing and kitesurfing lessons - but when we did venture out we found Antigua to be a warm and welcoming combination of friendly locals and great beaches. We had a particularly enjoyable dinner at Sheer Rocks, on the eastern side of the island. Another highlight was our visit to Stingray City, where the five-year old in our party was undoubtedly the bravest stingray handler among us! All in all a fantastic place for families or groups of friends. We will definitely be returning soon."

  • Beyond our Expectations!

"My family and I have been renting from VRBO for over 14 years and I have never been more pleased than with this rental!! The pictures are magnificent, but once we arrived at the villa, we realized that it was even more beautiful than the website depicted. The views, the layout of the villa, the furnishings, the amenities, the ocean breezes, EVERYTHING was incredible and beyond our expectations. In fact, within the first 24 hours of our stay we were already checking the owner's site for availability in 2015... we will definitely be returning! Thank you, Stephanie, for your kindness and for the excellent manner in which the entire transaction was handled...it was a breeze from beginning to end."
