"My teenage children and myself just arrived home from Antigua. The Villa was filled with charm, wonderful amenities, an amazing view and a great beach. We spent some days on the beach at St. James Club and travelled to others on the Island, they were all beautiful. I highly recommend this Villa as you will feel like you are at home but in paradise."Guest: Heather R. Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 15, 2014View listing
"Just returned from a most wonderful week at the Gordon House. Thanks Gregory Gordon for sharing this wonderful property, thanks Amanda for making the booking process seamless, and to Marilyn, for showing us the real beauty of the Antiguian people. There are many reasons to love the Gordon House. The privacy, the views, the house itself is spacious and charming. I, along with my 2 sisters and mother, felt completey safe all week. The kitties, Carribean and Wadadli, are a wonderful addition as well. They made us laugh every day, and also provided a practical side. The house is virtually bug free thanks to those cats. We cooked for ourselves, and Marilyn came every other day to tidy things up (laundry etc). We shopped at Island Provisions which is on the road from the airport, so we stocked up with food etc before heading to the house. We paid $600US to rent a vehicle for the week, but don't expect a new vehicle. The brakes were loud, but it served us well all week. We were able to swim directly off our property at all times of the day and felt completly safe as it is in a bay not exposed to open ocean. Long bay beach is a 5-6 walk down the road and even my 75 year old mother had no problem navigating the one hill. This beach is great for all ages, gorgeous white sand and gentle waters as well. We took one afternoon to explore St John's, but really couldn't wait to get back to Gordon House. Highly recommend the Gordon House for anyone looking for peace, privacy and getting to know the real Antigua."Guest: Blaine and Patti Gregg Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 23, 2014View listing
"This is a very well equipped house with great views of Galleon BeCh and beyond .A couple of minor problems were quickly addressed .The wi-fi was good although do not expect great tv reception . The Galleon Beach resort is not brilliantly maintained at present but this does not generally affect enjoyment of the house itself which is in very good condition. Overall highly recommended ."Guest: Lou Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 16, 2014View listing
"What can we say, bamboo house was nothing other than perfect. The larger house was lovely and perfect for the four of us, we had so much room to relax in the mornings and evenings, while watching the hummingbirds on the balcony and birds flying around the garden. Enjoying run punch on the balcony every evening and relaxing by the pool during the day. Joanne was amazing helped with anything we needed or wanted to know. The location of the house was perfect. A short walk to the local bar and supermarket and another hotel where we went for evening drinks was Just over the road. A short drive to the harbour more restaurants and shops if you wanted to see more faces. Antigua is beautiful the beaches, the people and everything about it will make it the most memorable holiday. We can't wait to go back one day and stay in the smaller cottage for two people ( maybe even for our honeymoon after getting engaged at the bar on Christmas Eve) it really was a perfect place to stay and I would recommend to anyone that can goes and enjoys this wonderful place. Thank you for such a wonderful experience and place to stay."Guest: rebecca m. Date of Stay: December 2014 Review Submitted: January 21, 2015View listing
