  • Truly enjoyable stay.

"As so many others have noted before us, this truly is a wonderful place. We very much enjoyed our 10 night stay at the Sugar Shack. A perfect cozy cottage - so clean, so private and so relaxing. Ilse and Bill are excellent hosts, very responsive and accommodating, and the staff is excellent as well. The island is terrific with so many beautiful beaches, including the ones so close to the cottage. And with very good grocery stores nearby, we were able to enjoy long days at the beach followed by fantastic barbecues on the patio or a night out at the many local restaurants. Thank you Bill and Ilse for sharing your paradise with us and for introducing us to sun-downers. Evenings haven’t been the same since."

  • Beyond our Expectations!

"My family and I have been renting from VRBO for over 14 years and I have never been more pleased than with this rental!! The pictures are magnificent, but once we arrived at the villa, we realized that it was even more beautiful than the website depicted. The views, the layout of the villa, the furnishings, the amenities, the ocean breezes, EVERYTHING was incredible and beyond our expectations. In fact, within the first 24 hours of our stay we were already checking the owner's site for availability in 2015... we will definitely be returning! Thank you, Stephanie, for your kindness and for the excellent manner in which the entire transaction was handled...it was a breeze from beginning to end."

  • Azura was amazing

"We recently stayed at Villa Azura for two weeks and it was fantastic. The Villa is modern, beautifully decorated, makes perfect use of outdoor and indoor space and is ideal for families. Not to mention the view, which is breath-taking. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Amanda (the owner) was a pleasure to deal and provided lots of information and directions to help us get settled into island life. At this point I have seen lots of villas on Antigua, and Villa Azura and Villa Kulala (Amanda's other property next door) are two of the absolutely nicests ones on the island. I'd recommend Villa Azura to anyone who wants to have their dream stay in Antigua."

  • Couldn't have wished for any more

"From the moment we arrived, tired and hot from the flight and greeted by Jo with fridge-chilled punch and a very welcome plate of food for dinner (meaning no need to organise a trip to the shop until the next day) we could tell this would be good. Hummingbirds from the hammock; fresh fish from the harbour grilled in the back yard; advice when we needed it; privacy when we wanted that; a beautiful midnight swim in the pool at full moon. Am really wonderful place to stay and we could not recommend the cottage highly enough. Go and stay there."
