  • Beautiful Place to stay

"This place was much more then we expected! It has two bedrooms of good size, and the king size bed has two small trundel's under it. The sofa has a sleeping pad on it, and we found it comfortable. The view is amazing, and the walk to the beach is perfect. Sidewalks all the way down to the most beautiful beach! The distance from the beachgoers was perfect. There was nothing lacking in our stay, and I would be most pleased to visit again!!"

  • Exactly as pictured

"We just returned from a wonderful week at Casa Iguana. The apartment is exactly as pictured. The view is amazing and the snorkeling right off the back is very good. The location was convenient for everything we wanted to do. I would highly recommend it for people who like to snorkel or dive. Also, although we didn't experience any problems on the island, they have a safe and a locked room to secure items. They also have outside locked storage which we used to leave our luggage after check out since we had late flights. We loved Bonaire!"

  • We Loved Slow Mocean

"My husband and I love to travel with our two young children. This house and island were the perfect vacation. We think it might have been one of the best vacations ever. The Island is safe, un-populated and beautiful. Beth, the owner, was accessible and friendly and answered all of our questions before we arrived. We arrived on St Thomas by plane and called the property manager of Slow Mocean and let him know which ferry we would be arriving on. He and his wife met us at the dock and helped us get our family, luggage and groceries up to the house and gave us a quick tour and then left us with keys to the house and golf cart. From the moment we stepped foot on Water Island everything was easy and laid back. The house is beautifully furnished in a comfortable island style with great art. The two bedrooms are adjoined by a large Jack-n-Jill bathroom. Both bedrooms had nice furniture and very comfortable beds. The Living Room has a set of huge glass doors that looks out over St. Thomas. You truly can not grasp how serene and beautiful the view from the deck is from pictures. I drank my coffee out there every morning and enjoyed dinner and wine out there every night. The island is very easy to explore by golf cart. We explored several beaches, but Honeymoon was by far the best. We would go early in the morning and stake our claim to one of the umbrellas and put our cooler and lounge chairs out for the day. We stayed at the beach from 8-4 everyday. This would normally seem impossible with two children ages 6 and 8 but it was dreamy. The water is as clear as a swimming pool with no current or waves. You can see down the entire beach from any spot so the children could swim and roam and swing on rope swings. We ate lunch at Heidi's several times. Her food is fresh and delicious. We snorkeled with Sea Turtles and pretty fish all right within the swimming area of the beach. We met several other families who were on the island and hung out with them during the day and had dinner parties in the evening. A couple things to know- Cruise ships bring day excursions over to Honeymoon beach. They only stay for an hour or so but it can get crowded. If you get your spot early enough to get a free lounge chair from one of the bars they are not an issue and actually provide good entertainment.Lastly, before we went we thought we would need to leave Water Island to go on excursions to other islands so we wouldn't be bored. Not true. Don't plan anything. Just relax and enjoy!"
