"My husband, 2 teenage daughters, and I recently spent a week in the beautiful Bamboo House. The home was clean and accurately depicted on the web. Joanne had graciously stocked our fridge with fresh fruits, vegetables, and a delicious rum punch. She also offered to get some groceries for us for Monday morning as the stores are closed on Sunday (the day of our arrival). This home was perfect for a family of four. My daughters shared a bedroom with their own bathroom and we each had our own privacy. The kitchen, dining room, and living room are all an open concept, so preparing meals was quite fun. We usually had dinner on the large porch. My daughters enjoyed reading in the relaxing hammock too. We used the pool each day while taking in the amazing landscaping. My daughters enjoyed feeding Joanne's tortoises, zip lining, horseback riding, and of course we all loved the pristine beaches. We visited Rendezvous Beach, Pineapple Bay, and Half Moon Bay. We were the only ones on the beach at Rendezvous. Pineapple Bay was a bit more touristy, but beautiful. Half Moon Bay had interesting natural beauty. I took some great photos of my family on the rocks with the waves splashing over them. Definitely listen to Joanne for restaurant recommendations...one of our favorite meals was at the Asian restaurant in Falmouth. The food, service, and view were amazing! Thank you Joanne for a being so kind and accommodating to our family."Guest: Tim and Lisa Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: August 8, 2014View listing
"My wife and myself had the most memorable holiday, of our lives at Dieppe Bay House. We were in the swimming pool everyday, and also enjoyed relaxing on the second floor terrace. The property is wonderful with great sea views and a mature garden, which gives you freedom and privacy. With restaurants and attractions near by, it is the perfect Island getaway."Guest: NZers Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: October 7, 2014View listing
"We just returned from our stay for a week at Perfect Sunshine Villa with our family of four and another family of four. The house is spectacularly sited on the top of a ridge with endless views both east and west. It is on the grounds of the Nonsuch Bay Resort, which entitled us to the use of the resort's 3 pools in addition to the private pool at the house, which was huge. The house is characterized by tons of usable space both inside and out. It has a fully equipped kitchen where we made most of our meals, but the resort's restaurant is amazing, as is Harmony Hall five minutes away. If you like sun, there is ample sunning space. If you like to read in the shade, or do yoga on the decks, you can have that too. You could have an amazing time and never leave the grounds of the house. We did a bit of exploring of the island and all of us kiteboarded, with the very professional 40 Knots kite school located at the resort. The kiteboarding spot at Green Island is one of the best I've been to, and I've been to many all over the world. The resort also has a famous sailing school for instruction or just to rent boats. The wind was perfect the entire time we were there, which made the use of air-conditioning unnecessary. The caretaker of the house took great care of us, even providing us with fresh fish on two nights. Did I mention the views? Breathtaking is an overused word, but is very appropriate for this villa. We will return!!!"Guest: mike m. Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: January 12, 2014View listing
"As so many others have noted before us, this truly is a wonderful place. We very much enjoyed our 10 night stay at the Sugar Shack. A perfect cozy cottage - so clean, so private and so relaxing. Ilse and Bill are excellent hosts, very responsive and accommodating, and the staff is excellent as well. The island is terrific with so many beautiful beaches, including the ones so close to the cottage. And with very good grocery stores nearby, we were able to enjoy long days at the beach followed by fantastic barbecues on the patio or a night out at the many local restaurants. Thank you Bill and Ilse for sharing your paradise with us and for introducing us to sun-downers. Evenings haven’t been the same since."Guest: Michael & Lois I.
