"I have stayed in the High Rise hotel area and the Low Rise hotel area and this hidden gem blows both areas out of the water. If you are looking to get away from it all then this is the place to be. This house is located a stones throw away from one best beaches on the island, Mangel Halto which is the best spot to snorkel on the island. There is reason why all the snorkeling and diving excursion come to this beach. The water is crystal clear and there is an abundance of sea life. The house itself has 3 large bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms and one of the bathrooms has a washer and dryer. There is a large family room/dinning room, and a large kitchen as well. Also there is front porch where we spent hours just hang out enjoying the amazing view and there is also large back patio where you can BBQ. The house is fully furnished with everything you could possibly want or need. All you have to do is pack a bathing suit and you are good to go. The owners Debbie and Steve are pleasure to deal with very responsive and they have gone above and beyond to make this place wonderful experience for their guest. I have been to Aruba many times and I have seen all the beaches and attractions and my favorite spot on the island hands down is the hammock on front porch. If you are looking for your own slice of paradise then this is it. I highly recommend this place I will be back here as soon as I can.
P.S. Zeerovers - A quick drive down the road, best place on the island for seafood. Laid back atmosphere, really fresh seafood, cold beer, and super cheap. We ate there twice it was so good."

"My husband, daughter and I had a fabulous 12 day holiday at Villa Calabas in May 2015. As soon as we walked into the villa we felt at home, the radio was playing in the background and Eve took the time to show us around and ensure we were all set. The inside areas were very spacious and comfortable, the outside areas were also very spacious with the sun terrace, pool and the undercover seating area – many evenings spent outside eating and drinking.
Eve and the Sunset team couldn’t do more to help ensure we had a great time in Aruba. Their recommendations for visits, attraction and restaurants were spot on and they even made dinner reservations for us. Great support, thanks.
We enjoyed several trips to Eagle Beach and Baby Beach and Arikok national park. Recommend the seafood at Wacky Wahoos, Flying Fishbone and Papillon.
Our thanks to Eve and the Sunset team."

"Usually when I travel I tend to stay in the all-inclusive (AI) resorts. Being a non-drinking/partying type of person, I decided to give the condo rental a try. So glad I did!!! Unit 6A at Wacamaya was my home away from home for 7 days. Aside from being immaculately clean and spacious, it provided me an opportunity to cook and eat my meals on my schedule...unlike AIs. The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed. A quick trip to SuperFoods and I was all set. The absolute best feature of this property for me was hands-down the bed! I found it to be more comfortable than mine back at home, so I got a great night's sleep every night. Although there weren't alot of people at the property during my stay, I felt safe the entire time. I thoroughly enjoyed the ability to head down to the beach (5 min. drive) and then retreat to a quiet location in the evening. Now getting to David and Anita...10 thumbs up! They responded to every question I had in a timely manner; provided a list of suggestions for dining, activities, etc. They left no stone unturned to ensure that I had a marvelous time. To that end, I would recommend this property to everyone! Thank you again for a spectacular birthday vacation!!!!"

"I am a fan of vacation rentals, read tons of reviews and often find myself distrusting the places that claim are perfect. Yet, that is the best word I can use to describe this sweet guest house.
My husband and I were looking for an affordable vacation rental for a snorkeling-focused anniversary trip. We wanted to be out the buzz of the high-rises and have the flexibility of having our own space. This accommodation hit every mark. Incredibly clean, great wi-fi, laundry facilities, a handy kitchenette, close to the beach, quaint outdoor seating, a grill, safe neighborhood, and additional perks that added to the enjoyment of our vacation both at the accommodation and out & about on the island. The studio style guest house was the perfect size to keep things simple and easy to maintain. It was our oasis retreat after a day of sightseeing and adventures.
The guest house was exactly that and perhaps for some vacationers too close to the main house on the property. Personally, I appreciated the set up. It made me feel safe and secure. The yard/courtyard is serene and the owners are amazing. They were helpful, friendly and give their guests lots of space (although they are so cool I wished I saw them more).
When the two of us return to Aruba, this will be our destination again. I feel lucky that we even had a chance to stay there. I was not surprised that they get return guests and I look forward to the next time when I will be one if them."
