  • Our Favorite Rental

"Recently we had the pleasure of staying at Janet’s Palm Beach villa. We had a fabulous time and even got to the point where leaving felt as if we were leaving our very own home. This was our third Aruba rental and definitely our best. If anyone out there is having reservations about renting, do not worry. Janet's home is great. Everything in the home is exactly as you would expect it to be. The pictures do a great job of setting your expectations and the owners do an even better job of filling in any blanks. The attention and service provided by Janet was the best that we have experienced. Every email we sent was answered surprisingly fast with not only the requested information but also any related info she thought would be of use. She presented us with a clear timeline of when payments should be made and various other pieces of information (check in instructions, directions, etc.) We always rent a jeep because we like to explore but if you plan to stay in the Palm Beach area a vehicle is not a necessity. Both the beach and nightlife is within walking distance of the home as well as the bus route in case you want to venture out further. However, I will say if you plan on using the beach chairs and coolers available at the home walking may not be the best idea. After picking up the rental car we followed the directions and had no problem finding the house. We unloaded and unpacked before stocking up at Ling's. We picked up breakfast, lunch and snack foods for the week, along with beverages both alcohol and non. The home has everything you will need whether doing light snack prep or cooking a full blown meal. The coolers are great for Arashi sunsets. The home sleeps 7 or 8 but since we were a party of two the very comfortable bed in the Master was enough, but for one occasion when his snoring became too much of a nuisance he got to test out the bed in one of the other rooms. I was told it was also very comfortable. Each room has an air conditioner but we eventually decided they weren't necessary as the home stays cool at night and we were never there during the day. Great location, accommodations and property owners; Janet and her Villa have set the bar extremely high for any future rentals we may book. Then again unless this rental is unavailable I'm not sure we would have any reason to go with another rental. (This review was much longer and far more glowing but had to be edited due to VRBO only allowing 2500 characters)"

  • Above and beyond:-)

"We had twelve people, and 4 generations staying at Franks hotspot and we could not have been any happier. Everyone from my 10 month old grand daughter to my 83 year old father-n-law had a fabulous time. There was a crib and pack and play for the baby, along with 2 high chairs, so we didn't need to bring anything from home. The pool was amazing for my 4 year old grand daughter. There is an area the whole length of the pool for small children to play. There is an outdoor shower and outdoor toilet, so handy:-) The hammock was a huge hit with my family and we ate all of our meals outside under the thatch gazebo. (beautiful) I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a play to stay on the island. It's a short walk to the beach, and lots of shops close by. Frank goes above and beyond. My grand daughter left her Elsa doll from "Frozen" at the house when we left to come back to the states, and Frank rushed to the airport so she could have it. Thank you sooooo much Frank for such a wonderful experience for our entire family!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • Excellent Trip

"What a lovely resort this was. We had a great time here. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this resort to any that are traveling to Aruba. The pool with the bar was always a frequent watering hole for us. Most rooms have a beautiful view of the ocean. The waters here in Aruba are always an amazing greenish blue color. Close to shopping and restaurants, just far enough away from downtown. Will definitely be going back."

  • Excellent value, great location, affordable rental car, great owner and caretaker!

"We had our wedding in Aruba and needed to find a place for some family members. We have a timeshare at the Marriott Surf Club, but we had a large group (16 people) so we decided to rent this house in addition to the timeshare. It was really one of the best decisions we made for our trip! Our family stayed here for about a week. My parents stayed here and they really enjoyed it because of its convenience and spaciousness. To save on costs, we cooked some of our meals and found that having a large kitchen and dining area for the family to convene and eat together was great! The two bathrooms were huge! The house is clean and it's close enough to all of the hotels in the Palm Beach area that it was very convenient. Additionally, it's very close to some very delicious, local restaurants including The Old Cunucu House restaurant, which was recommended to us by Elvin (he is the house's caretaker and overall, very great guy!) and 2 Fools and a Bull. Overall, it was really great! Elvin was very helpful and assisted us in getting transport from the airport to the house. Eileen was very good in communicating with us and answering any questions we had. We would recommend renting the truck: it is cheaper than renting from a car rental place and having the truck was just super convenient for whenever we needed to go anywhere. We rented a large minibus since our family was so large but the truck was very convenient for quick trips to the Aruba Surf Club or beach. Just be warned that there are stray dogs and chickens roaming the area. It's very safe in the area, but don't expect a tourist spot. Personally, we liked that there were no tourists lingering about. The next neighbor was very nice! The hotspot is a must! The house is also very close to a KFC, Chinese Take-out place, a Catholic Church, and a local supermarket. Some recommendations we would have for travelers: look through the coupons they give you at the airport, it'll save you money! You can get a free drink from the Old Cunucu House using one of those coupons! We would definitely recommend renting this house. Eileen is a great "landlord", Elvin a great caretaker and local connection, and the value for the house is just excellent! Aruba is so safe that you really don't need to worry about being off the resort and being at the house just gives you more chances to explore the island! The north shore is absolutelyyyyy amazing!!!"
