  • BEST VACATION EVER!

"Just got back from 10 days at this Villa. It is a beautiful Villa every inch is TOP shelf. The kitchen is huge with everything a gourmet chef needs. There is a gas grille Poolside. The views from the pool and roof patio are amazing. The public almost private beaches are 5 mins away and are not packed not like the crazy hotel beaches. The other key is its located at the country club so Golf,Spa and restaurant are only a 5 minute walk away. The Villa is huge with every amenity you could ever ask for.We will definitely come back and stay here next trip to Aruba!"

  • Wonderful time in Aruba !

"We just returned from a week at the Surf Club and had a wonderful time. The island, the resort, the people, the rooms, the beach, the restaurants, all top notch. The resort is clean and well staffed, has good wifi, has a great pool with swim up bar, and was right on the beach. The rooms were quite comfortable for three adults and two teens and the full kitchen was very useful. The owner was extremely accomodating and helpful - he gave us a lot of valuable information about local knowlege, restaurants and activities, as this was our first time on the island. Overall, a really great experience that I would highly recommend to family and friends."

  • Nice House Close To The Heart Of An Island With Wonderful People

"We really enjoyed our two-week stay in this nice sized house. It was clean and well kept. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning always felt great. The showers have heated water which not all island homes have throughout the Caribbean. It is close enough to the heart of Aruba (Palm Beach High Rise Area) where you can get there quickly and then get back out which was perfect for us. The truck was a blessing to us for we were able to see the entire island from one end to the other. It has a diesel engine with a standard transmission and is easy to drive. It has 4-wheel drive which offers security when exploring the island. We loved seeing the Burrowing Owls and call me crazy but I liked the roosters to. Elvin took great care of us and we consider him our friend in Aruba. He has a band and we went and enjoyed them one evening and had a great time. We had some great food (Smokey Joes for Ribs … Lindas Dutch Pancakes … Iguana Joes for lunch, drinks and a cool place … Pinchos for a fantastic sunset view and dinner … Texas De Brazil for a meat carnivores dream! There is a nice grocery store close by that had everything that we wanted and more. We snorkeled everywhere and were able to video many different tropical fish. The snorkeling was great right from the many beaches that we frequented. The sun was hot but there was always a nice trade wind breeze blowing that made it feel great. Before deciding on going to Aruba we read where many people keep going back. We have always wanted to visit other islands that we haven't been to but now see why everyone returns to Aruba and we will to. The resident people in Aruba are truly wonderful and are like a breath of fresh air. They are so very kind and friendly. We cannot say this for some of the other islands that we have been to. We always felt safe everywhere that we went. The neighbors around the house are good kind people also. You mix wonderful people on a beautiful island with great weather and add in the nice house with available truck and you can have yourself a fantastic vacation! (Typing this review takes me back … Which is where I'd like to be!)"

  • Our Favorite Rental

"Recently we had the pleasure of staying at Janet’s Palm Beach villa. We had a fabulous time and even got to the point where leaving felt as if we were leaving our very own home. This was our third Aruba rental and definitely our best. If anyone out there is having reservations about renting, do not worry. Janet's home is great. Everything in the home is exactly as you would expect it to be. The pictures do a great job of setting your expectations and the owners do an even better job of filling in any blanks. The attention and service provided by Janet was the best that we have experienced. Every email we sent was answered surprisingly fast with not only the requested information but also any related info she thought would be of use. She presented us with a clear timeline of when payments should be made and various other pieces of information (check in instructions, directions, etc.) We always rent a jeep because we like to explore but if you plan to stay in the Palm Beach area a vehicle is not a necessity. Both the beach and nightlife is within walking distance of the home as well as the bus route in case you want to venture out further. However, I will say if you plan on using the beach chairs and coolers available at the home walking may not be the best idea. After picking up the rental car we followed the directions and had no problem finding the house. We unloaded and unpacked before stocking up at Ling's. We picked up breakfast, lunch and snack foods for the week, along with beverages both alcohol and non. The home has everything you will need whether doing light snack prep or cooking a full blown meal. The coolers are great for Arashi sunsets. The home sleeps 7 or 8 but since we were a party of two the very comfortable bed in the Master was enough, but for one occasion when his snoring became too much of a nuisance he got to test out the bed in one of the other rooms. I was told it was also very comfortable. Each room has an air conditioner but we eventually decided they weren't necessary as the home stays cool at night and we were never there during the day. Great location, accommodations and property owners; Janet and her Villa have set the bar extremely high for any future rentals we may book. Then again unless this rental is unavailable I'm not sure we would have any reason to go with another rental. (This review was much longer and far more glowing but had to be edited due to VRBO only allowing 2500 characters)"

Palm Beach Travel Tips

Getting to Palm Beach

Aruba is a popular beach vacation destination in the Caribbean and is easily accessible with international and regional airlines offering regularly scheduled flights. All the major North American airlines have connections into Aruba and some European airlines have flights at least once a week. On arrival in Aruba, you can get a taxi to Palm Beach or arrange to hire a car for the duration of your stay. Alternatively, if you are looking to arrive at your vacation home in style, there are limo services available. To get to the beaches, you can hop on one of the local buses. Make sure you familiarize yourself with the schedules so you can get back home in the afternoon.

Choose from the Best

Palm Beach, also known as the High Rise District, is reputed to be Aruba’s best and most popular beach. Many of the villas are located on or near the beachfront and have fantastic views over the bay. Choose from one-bedroom condos and large spacious homes that can accommodate up to eight people. The vacation rentals are comfortably furnished and many have televisions and entertainment centers, not that you will want to spend much time holed up indoors; Aruba has a wealth of attractions well worth exploring. Getting groceries or supplies from the local stores is easy, and well equipped kitchens make catering for the family hassle-free.

Things to See near Palm Beach Aruba Resorts

While the beach may be the main attraction, there are many other interesting places that are worthwhile to see. Aruba has a number of interesting museums. These include the Archeological Museum which houses ancient artifacts, including stone and shell implements and the Numismatic Museum which houses one of the largest collections of coins and paper notes from around the world. This museum has an impressive number of exhibits which feature more than 400 different countries. The Aruba Model Train Museum is the brainchild of a well known retired businessman J. de Vries and it showcases an interesting collection of model train sets. The Historical Museum of Aruba is housed in the Willem III Tower at Fort Zoutman. It contains exhibits and paintings depicting Aruba’s history from its early settler days, through colonization and more modern times.

Activities in Aruba

The warm tropical weather and beautiful beach setting of Aruba provides the perfect playground for a whole host of activities. Sip on an ice cold cocktail at one of the beach bars and watch the local kite surfers playing in the waves. You could also sign up for a few lessons and join them out to sea. Windsurfing is another popular sport and on a windy day, the bay is a mass of colorful sails. A great way to explore the coastline is by hiring a sea kayak. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy an afternoon paddle to one of the quieter beaches nearby. There are several diving operators that offer scuba charters and snorkeling excursions. The diving conditions are optimal with crystal clear visibility, warm water temperatures and an abundance of marine life. Many leisure cruises will offer snorkeling as part of their packages. For those keen on deep sea and sport fishing, charter boats can take you to the best fishing spots and provide all the necessary fishing gear.
