"What a wonderful choice Windsong proved to be! It is paradise! The Carribbean is right across the street where you can swim, snorkel, and or just sit and enjoy the scenery. It is so peaceful and relaxing. We stayed in the cottage which was perfect for my husband and me. It had everything we needed and the back yard was perfect with a beautiful garden and a wonderful pool. Very quiet which works for us because we're not into the bustle of the typical tourist. Their property manager Juan picked us up at the airport and was a wealth of information. He truly is a gentlemen with a great sense of humor. Highly recommend staying here and can't wait to come back! Thank you Mike and Lois! You have a gem. Patty and Ray"

"We stayed at Sunset Beach Studios early November 2015 for ten nights. We were met with a very warm and friendly greeting, and were provided a full list of recommended excursions and interesting things to do (thank you Jackie!).
Our room was very clean and air conditioned, the bed was quite comfortable. We made several of our own meals at the resort in our mini kitchen. The kitchen has many amenities (fridge, 2 burner hot plate, coffee maker, blender, etc). There are also 2 BBQ's for guest use.
Having stayed at many large resorts in the past, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a smaller place (there are 10 rooms). We got to know so many wonderful fellow guests! After one of our fishing charters in Oranjestad, we BBQ'd a bunch of mahi mahi and enjoyed a pot luck dinner with about 10 other guests, where we were able to get to know one another and share stories. This was truly one of the high lights of our stay!
The small pool and hot tub were kept spotless. Each room has its own little patio with table and chairs. We stayed in the Large Garden 2 at the side of the resort which gave us full, unobstructed view of the ocean from our patio. The beach directly across the road is not the greatest for swimming or sunbathing, however, there are beautiful beaches just minutes down the road. The snorkeling around the old ship wreck across the road was definitely worthwhile. There are tons of various fish all around the ship. Be mindful of small sea urchins nestled in the rocks closer to shore, water shoes are recommended.
Many of the guests we met were repeat visitors as they too enjoyed the resort. Several people were staying 1-2 months. Others who were staying for the first time had already booked their vacation there again next year.
I can't say enough on how friendly and helpful all of the staff were. The location is great as you are away from the hustle and bustle of the large hotels, but still a short drive from downtown Oranjestad. If we return to Aruba, this would definitely be the place we would stay at again."

"We just returned from our first trip to Aruba and thanks to Debbie and Steve's house and hospitality, we can't wait to go back. We always rent houses when we travel in the states, but this was our first time to travel abroad and we decided to take a chance on a house. It was perfect for our family! We like peace and quite, natural beauty and feeling at home. This was it. We visited several natural attractions, like Baby Beach, the Light House, the Church, the Ostrich Farm and the Ruins on the northern bluffs. They were fun to see and it was great to feel apart of the culture, but our true passions were right at the house snorkeling and sunning. Couldn't ask for more. The house was very well maintained and had a lot of features that I wasn't expecting it to have. Thanks again Steve and Debbie!"
